This is what worked for me...

1. Be on February Security
2. Disable Security Pin in settings
3. Reboot to TWRP (Make backup if needed)
4. Factory Data Reset
5. Flash DU
6. Flash TWRP
7. Reboot ROM and set up without security
8. Reboot back to TWRP and flash latest Magisk
9. Reboot back to ROM and set up security
10. Done!

Did you let the phone do it's initial boot after deuce's script ran? Or just stayed in fastboot mode, fastboot booted to TWRP, and flash the ROM and TWRP installer zip?

Also, did you format userdata when given the option in deuce's script? And you flashed TWRP before the ROM? I was under the understanding that the ROM flash would erase the TWRP install.

EDIT: I didn't format userdata, didn't reboot afterwards (just booted straight into TWRP and proceeded), and flashed TWRP before ROM and now it is indeed booting. Just need to figure out now whether or not TWRP is still installed. Many thanks! Deuce's must have fixed something I must have janked I guess.

EDIT2: Yeah appears TWRP should be flashed after the ROM not (just) before like the DU post says. I'm back to stock recovery afterwards.
Yeah I had a lot of problems before using deuces script. Been less trouble since.
I let it boot into the OS on stock to download all the needed files
Yeah I tried to do twrp after the first time and it boot looped. . I just fastbooted it to put magisk on it and installed twrp before that

Just wanna add to what bajasur said. I followed instructions just like that as well. I wound up in the bootloader bootloop. So, I dirty fastbooted the Feb image, let it boot up, and did a minimal setup. Then fastbooted back to twrp, factory reset, flashed rom and twrp, and all was good. Just FYI if it happens to you :good:

PSA.....Don't use the clock tweaks center clock substratum theme. It'll FC your UI, and you'll have to flash the substratum rescue zip in twrp. Provided you have no lock screen security set that is. So Beware! ??

does factory reset in twrp wipes the sdcard too or does it work like in former times where everything except the personal data is wiped?

really?? so no need to backup internal storage (as in pictures, musik)?
also: just checked in twrp and when manually wiping sections, one can choose (amongst others) between storage and internal storage. whats the difference?

as always:thanks man!
