Try just holding the power button doing a hard restart before you do anything crazy

Well i went back and flashed rom again and now it booted fine also i noticed i am on slot a now instead of b which i was on stock
Yeah every now and then I'll get stuck on Google splash screen to I'll just do a hard restart it will get me out of it. Yeah everytime you flash a ROM it's going to flash to the opposite slot you're on.

Lol I don't know if it's working, I know calls can't be made in airplane mode, so that test won't work. The device says it's working and others confirmed it. I will see if I can find another way to test
Wifi calls can certainly be made in airplane mode. However, remember that if you put it in airplane mode the wifi turns off too. You'll need to reconnect to wifi after you put it in airplane mode. You should be able to call then if it's working.

Tried that, doesn't appear to make a call using wifi. Says I need to be on a network even though wifi is connected. No big deal really

My opinion?..oh crud. Having never done it from custom back to stock, I would check to see what active slot I'm on, then dirty flash the factory image to the other slot. That may be way off, but then again, that's my opinion ?
I don't want to corrupt my device and wipe it entirely, just want to go back to stock with steps that actually works lol
I really don't want to backup 30gb of my internal to laptop it Will take hours lol
What you think i should do

Good backups take a while, but well worth it if you get in a bind. Now, if it were me, and wanted to go back to stock, I would, first of course take care of the lock screen thing. Then go into twrp, do a factory reset with the swipe bar, then restore my stock backup. If it boots up great! If I get the corrupt meaage, I'd then dirty fastboot the factory image. If that doesn't work...then it's clean flash time! Hence, the importance of good backups ?

So I can't really give you a good answer but keep a backup on a flash drive. Something changed and now flashing back to stock from Custom at least for me has caused me a lot of problems. Like I just tested an RR ROM last night. And afterwards I restored my backup to stock. Immediately made my one slot corrupt so I was able to change to the other slot and restore my backup. But the first three times I did this I had no problem so I don't really know. I do know you don't want to wipe system anymore in TW RP.

For me I always keep a stock backup on my phone and on a flash drive. And if you do get the corrupt device you could try changing slots and restoring on the other one and if that doesn't work you're just going to have to flash a factory image with the w

I didn't made a twrp backup as i wanted to set up clean again
Now what should i do? Make a wipe of data and cache in twrp then fastboot in bootloader mode and flash feb img without-w using flash all command?
I was on slot b when i was on stock and now i am on slot a

No backup?!! Shame..shame..shame! JK bro ?
I would go back to fastboot, set active slot to _b, then dirty fastboot the factory image. Don't see why it would work. And all your data should still be intact.

If you can still boot your device I would save everything on your SD card that you want to save to your PC. There's an app called SD card sync sauce. That app saves me every time I have to do a full wipe. Put it on your computer hook up your phone push a button and it backs up everything on your SD card.

No backup here either lol. Once I go custom, then if I'm going back to stock... I always go clean. Guarantees nothing is left over. My personal opinion, if you factory reset in twrp, you should be able to restore a backup but these pixels aren't like the previous phones I had, and they don't ALL act the same... It's really obnoxious! Lol
