Incorrect SMS TimeStamp

ok I have the X2 with the MR2 update and my incoming sms messages arrive with a time stamp thats 4-5 hours earlier than the actual time. Ive searched the forums and I see that the HTC phones have the same problem but I cant find anything on the X2. does anyone have a fix/ solution for this?
if this has already been posted sorry Im new at the forums

goto start/setup/connections/connection setup.. it will fix the problem.. also u need to goto connections/connection and then advanance tab and select ur WAP or internet setting as it will change

I tried that just now and it didnt work this has been happening since I got the phone back in Feb before any updates.... thanks though

oh same here, connection setup didnt do the trick. but i had the same problem on my old samsung i780. maybe it has smth to do with winmo setup then???

hmmm have u guys when to start/setting/system/regional settings and update to ur timezone?

I believe that this is a problem that is inherit to winmo I just cant seem to fix it on the X2.
I tried the regional settings but its still showing the wrong time

Ugh, the same issue is happening to me.

I'm on Rogers in Canada, tried all the registry entries that worked in 6.1 and no luck.

This phone I just received today, and has so far been one big disapointment!
