Thanks to DEV47 for this, I was successful in getting my Incredible to show as a wifi web cam for Skype! The frame rate and resolution are a little low, but who needs a 720p stream from a web cam? Probably a lot of us here! 
I did manage to get it working with VLC, testing it still.
