I've been in contact with Tomas from IndashNet regarding the lack of info from his units on the web, and I gave him a series of questions that I think many here wanted answered

Q.-What is the exact CPU used on the new Octa Cores?
A.-Allwinner A83/T8 series
Q.-What is the exact android version of Lollipop you are using right now? 5.1,? 5.1.1?
A.-5.1.1
Q.-The small octa core units of 7 inches can have a 1024x600 resolution?
A.-Yes.
*(New Extended Info: 7,8,9,10.1 inches will be 1024*600. 6.2 inches not now.)
Q.-besides the embedded mic, does it has a secondary mic that you can place somewhere else? (usually android units have a lot of noise with a secondary mic overlaping with the embedded one, the best is to use the embedded for noise cancelling like in mobile phones)
A.-Yes. External MIC is there.

Q.-When two mics are connected (internal and external), the internal is for noise cancelling?, the internal is turned off?, the internal and the external are both turned on?
A.-Internal could be for noise cancelling but not yet.
Q.-how about the Buetooth? are the contacts shared from the phone like a regular radio with BT? or it can use the contacts from your android account?
A.-Currently inside BT. but call from android contact can be done in future by SW update.
Q.-can you use steering wheels controls to call?
A.-Yes.
Q.-can you use steering wheels controls to see contacts to call them?
A.-No.

Q.-When you said that you can Not use steering whhel controls see contacts and call them, are you talking about google contacts?, or are you talking about Bluetooth phone contacts? (usually when connected the phone by bluetoot you can see bluetooth phone contacts, select them and call them)
A.-I mean that we didn't provide call from Google contacts. You can call from BT built-in phone contacts.
Q.-can you use steering wheels controls to answers calls?
A.-Yes.
Q.- can you use steering wheels controls for music and radio?
A.-Yes
Q.- can you use parking sensors?
A.-If you mean camera. Yes.

Q.-When I asked about support for parking sensors, I was talking about the generic proximity sensors that all other android Head Units support, you can get them from aliexpress for exmple

Q.-Right now you tell me that using A2DP we can get an update on the future to support AVRCP 1.6 (song info + cover artwork readed from the music file), what can we see about the song on the screen right now when we stream music with Bluetooth using A2DP from the phone?

A.-Yes
Q.-can you change the boot animation from a menu?, select a car brand symbol or something?

A.-20+ 3G dongles are working(UMTS/HSPA, EVDO).

A.-Canbus need longer time to confirm.
(I also asked about my Peugeot 307 CAN BUS integration, giving him the model/year of the car, and a couple of CANBUS decoders that works with other HU from the people at connects2, and he said he'll look in to it and get back to me next week)
Q.-Can it Mix Audio Sources with GPS
A.-In the latest version it can Mix Audio with Radio/Audio Player/Video Player/AUX input
