Welcome to the Xperia ZL MEGA-(INDEX)-THREAD

As the name suggests, this will be a MEGA THREAD maintained by me keeping in place all the ROOT/RECOVERY/ROMS for the Xperia ZL, under one single thread.

there is a very simple way to root Xperia ZL with locked bootloader by using new flashtool (Flashtool version 0.9.10.2beta6)

Guys, i intend to root and unlock bootloader. So far it has been a little confusing. There are rooting http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2386405 here require kernel only. i have been searching the kernels only section for International ZL C6502 and currently running 10.3.1.A.2.67 .. any guides?

Did you test it? I tryied rooting using previous versions of Flash Tools and none of the methods worked.
