Moving apps to "discontinued" branch on GitHub

You're welcome.
I can't save the last translations btw. I know why I don't like this platform... https://screenshots.firefox.com/oiQrrjpt4FGbYR7n/ffn-localizations.oneskyapp.com
That loves to occur on OneSky, frustrating it is.

On the other hand, as you all know, on the GitHub page, we have several branches, for easier orientation.

One of them is "discontinued" where are moved apps that no longer need the translator attention (Dev's don't develop them anymore, app is not available in any other way, etc...).

For know, as @Primokorn proposed and I agreed, we have 2 rules to follow (that are applied how are apps added to the discontinued branch):

  1. The Dev asks us to move it with a reason which will be added to the commit. For example - No major update in the coming weeks/monts.
  2. After an "X" of months, all apps from the "new_apps" branch are moved automatically to the "discontinued" branch.

It's more likely number two will occur rather than number one, but I would like to define number two with all of you. Should we put like two or three months before the apps is moved to another branch? More? Less?

Please let us know in the next few posts.

Also, if there are some suggestions or improvements you see, don't hesitate to write it here or write personally to me and @Primokorn.

Have a nice day!

Cheers!

Thanks a lot for your cooperation my friend! :good:
Brazilian Portuguese is ready, check your pm

---------- Post added at 05:04 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:25 PM ----------

It's actually seeming that some translation platforms weren't developed thinking in translators making a bit embarrassing our work...instead of making it fluently and effective. May we encourage or suggest developers to prefer any tool in favour of other??

Hi guys,
I want once again thank you all together for the time you have dedicated to the f****ng ;) texts of my app and to the brief presentation for the Store.
I would never have hoped for a similar result and I really appreciated your help. I also hope any future users of the app who speak your language appreciate the effort and the great work.

Thanks

"YouTube Downloader for Android" translations

Hello Guys! I was wondering if anyone would like take a look at https://www.getlocalization.com/ytdownloader/ where translations of my app YouTube Downloader for Android are hosted... Many languages are almost ready, with just a few strings to be completed. On the other hand, some may require some work... It's up to you anyway :)
I cannot offer anything in regards, because the app is already free and ad-free. No premium version is available (all features are unlocked).

Official thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2137743

Thanks in advance for any help!

PS:
For anyone that translates more than 2 strings, there's a small "hall of fame", the Translators index in the app (3-dot menu -> about -> translators), where you will be able to see your username at getlocalization listed

Realised that German strings are 100% completed but also that most of the work was already done years ago.
Commenced to check all strings, voting for the in my opinion most suitable ones and occasionally suggesting a revised translation.
I'll give you a heads-up when I finished.
