Don't forget AOSPExtended https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-max-2/development/rom-aospextended-rom-v4-6-t3777541/page2
haha, luckily i have all of you guys to help me keep an overviewIt's raining roms!
Tough job to keep this index up to date.![]()
alrighty, thx for the info. will add those two shortly. For AOKP and DotOS do not add on index.
DarkROM yes add it and 1 more AIM Rom
noted!
because 7.1.2 original sources from xiaomi have been released, so its way easier to compile nougat custom roms than oreo.Thank You Devs for all these Roms, God Bless, but why many 7.1.2s not 8.1s ?
Ok Ok, thank you so much Brother, now understood.because 7.1.2 original sources from xiaomi have been released, so its way easier to compile nougat custom roms than oreo.
there is no official oreo rom yet for the MM2, thus no oreo sources could be released.

ure welcomeOk Ok, thank you so much Brother, now understood.
i was actually thinking about something similar these past few days. however, the respective rom threads do contain that info already, so its just a click awayU should also mention update date..due to this from ur post we can know which rom has got updated....just a request..
i was actually thinking about something similar these past few days. however, the respective rom threads do contain that info already, so its just a click away
plus, going down that road can open up a can of worms very easily: if including the last update date, why not also include a list of working / non-working components? or user reports on battery life? or give a list of specific rom characteristics that discerns one rom from all others?
all that is already discussed in the rom threads, so including it here would be double trouble.
not to mention that i would have to check ALL rom threads individually every single day just to make sure the dates in the OP are correct... sorry, but i cannot promise to be able to do that, too much RL in my way
so i think ill leave it as it is, a general overview of the rom landscape for our MM2, with rom specific details given in the linked threads/websites/repositories
hope u guys understand!
cheers
wow this would be absolutely amazing! so much work! and so much good data coming from that work, i love itFinally this week I received my two Mi Max 2.
Why two? I ordered my first one on GearBest on November 24, 2017 at the fantastic price of $199.99. It only arrived last monday, April 16, 2018!
Please do not think it was GearBest's fault. They are a fantastic store and I recommend them to everyone without hesitation.
The problem is always the brazilian post office. They must have simply left the postal bag stashed somewhere due to Christmas overload in December to find it only in March.
But what seemed a bad thing turned out to be good. After a few complains in March, GearBest made a full refund as a credit and I just bought another one. Guess what? The second on arrived last Wednesday!!
I got a full refund because my shipment was insured. I checked my insurance rule and the long delay justifies its use. This means I got the first one for free and do not need to pay it back.
So now I have two Xiaomi Max 2 at my disposal. I have just unlocked the first one and tomorrow I will unlock the second.
When I started checking the Mi Max 2 development forum I was concerned custom roms would be scarce. But I decided to take a chance and again I was lucky. So many options now that I do not know where to start.
Since I will have these two phones at my disposal with no need to put them in use in the near future I decided to benchmark AOSP roms.
Some of you who have a mido may have already seen my thread: [Updated 14-Apr-2018] Battery Life / Performance Benchmarks.
Take a look and tell me if you would like to have something similar done for the Mi Max 2.
Sorry for the somewhat OT, but I could no resist to tell my story.![]()
