I am not very familiar with android programming. But software can only do so much where h/w is not sufficient. And is there a workaround to maximize camera potential? Like improved drivers or libs or something?

CM based ROM + any custom kernel with "darkness" governor. You can also make CPU frequency lower by changing its max MHz via Kernel Adiutor. What is the best rom+kernel combo for extreme battery life?
I have problem with cm or RR or asop that 4g not working .CM based ROM + any custom kernel with "darkness" governor. You can also make CPU frequency lower by changing its max MHz via Kernel Adiutor.
But it will be very laggy, I think you might not enjoy using your phone.![]()
You may try to change non-hlos.bin to the newest version (from MIUI v6.8.4 as example). I had the same problems before CM Official was released. But a few weeks ago I flashed CM Firmware before flashing ROM and I have stable LTE/LTE+. That firmware you can find in the second post of official CM thread. :angel:I have problem with cm or RR or asop that 4g not working .

Yeah they're compatible. You may have to flash the nhlos.bin from a Rom for Kate. But don't flash MIUI Roms for Kenzo on Kate, they may cause (big) problems.Apologies if this is written somewhere else, but are these ROMs etc. compatible with the International Edition (Kate)? I assume at least the modem is different.
