G2 Testers Thread
for DEVELOPERS find TESTERS, and TESTERS find COOL stuff
Code:
#include
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war. Please do some research if you have any concerns
* about being a tester.
* YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
*/
CyanogenMod statement modified, very useful for this!
Hello folks, I'm elaborating this thread as an index thread where DEVELOPERS can find TESTERS for their ROMs/Kernels/Tools before officially posting in XDA Development Sections. The idea seems to be profitable and worthy because I haven't seem this kind of thread out of the 'apps' sections, and I think it will organize and make our development threads greater without things that don't even work. It will help not just devs, but all the community.
DEVELOPERS ---> Read post #3 for information.
TESTERS ---> Keep reading this post and reply this thread to get in the INDEX.
But how this is going to work?
Well, the best arrangement I could find to make it easier is listing for each variant it's testers in the post #1 as people reply/feedback their respective variants and their willing and possibility to be testers.
In my point of view, to be tester you need to fit some parameters. So, here we go.
- You need to know how to deal with possible problems that maybe these stuff can cause, like BOOTLOOPS, SOFTBRICKS...;
- Have a good knowledge to feedback errors;
- Don't change/sell your cellphone fast;
- Constantly use XDA, thirty minutes to one hour a day is enough;
- All related to the world of custom (Kernels, ROMS, etc...);
- Know XDA politics and rules (end of the post).
G2 Variants Specifications:
- D800 is the AT&T US variant;
- D801 is the T-Mobile US variant;
- D802 is the Global variant;
- D803 is the Rogers Wireless Canadian variant;
- D805 is the Latin America variant [D802];
- D806 is the Argentina's variant [D802];
- LS980 is the Sprint US variant;
- VS980 is the Verizon Wireless US variant;
- L-01F is the NTT DoCoMo Japanese variant;

D802
And then I'm gonna add your XDA profile link in the second post on the correct variant. So devs can ask you using a PM to test whatever they have to test and it's up to you ACCEPT or not.
So, all this stated we can start this party by using the second post to link the testers profiles as you feedback your G2 variant.
