Hi,
Just a question ...
Is it technically possible to take the latest OxygenOS released for newer devices and use our 3/3T device tree(or whatever you call it) and repackage OxygenOS (UnOfficial) for our 3/3T ?
thanks.

Hello guys.
Can someone here direct me to havoc os thread for oneplus 3t, or you can share the link.
I can't seem to find the link in the first page, it only have link for beta channel (Android 11), or is it possible that it has been shut down since the developer is focusing on android 11 based ROM.
And guys excuse me if I'm annoying or bothering you I have tried searching in the XDA but didn't get results as expected, so that's why I'm asking for help here.
Any suggestion is welcomed and hugely appreciated.

Here's the thread forAndroid Q Havoc OS but im not sure whether its EOL or not you'll have to check the last few pages of the thread for that.

Also, for now it's better to search for threads on google using the site:forum.xda-developers.com dork as the new XDA forums is still kinda in a very Alpha stage and it might take some time for all the features to work as intended.

Hi! Of those who have used several variants of custom rom based on android 11, can you recommend a custom-rom friendly with phone resources? I am currently using the standard Pixel experience 11 on a OnePlus 3. The phone's battery is very demanding with this rom and most of the time it doesn't last even until 5 pm on a normal day. I have to charge the phone at least twice a day, which does not happen until I install this custom rom. I don't even have the time and patience to take every rom on the xda to see which one is more friendly with the phone's resources, so I turn to the experiences you have had so far. Thank you very much! All the best!

I wouldn't recommend any Custom ROM, with Lineage OS being the only exception.

You wouldn't notice too much of a difference in terms of battery life among ROMs.

Stick with Stock ROM, or Lineage OS (for latest security patches and newer Android versions).

Well custom roms dont provide experience similar to stock, so if you are looking for stability and performance you should switch back to oos, if not you can use lineage or havoc os(if you like customization), these are the 2 roms which i would have prefer if I was you, and i personally enjoyed havoc os quite much, battery was decent enough for me.

    ResurrectedRemix-homemade

    Hello,

I want to indroduce/share my self-compiled ResurrectionRemix v6.0.0 build. The main reason for this home-made version was that in the ROM I used so far (nitrogenOS, official RR), I did not have all the features I wanted or knew. So i took the sources from different ROMs and added some commits/features that are usefull/important in my opinion. Some changes were applied to the included caesium kernel as well.

    Sources:

    Major ROM changes:

    Taken from nitrogenOS/omniRom:
    - wakelock-blocker #by faust93 and maxwen
    - alarm(s)-blocker #by maxwen and faust93
    - led notification settings within appsettings/appinfo #by ezio84 and maxwen
    - batteryLED: add "reallyfull" option #by maxwen

    Taken from lineageOS:
    - livedisplay patchset8 (this will enable panel modes, such as srgb and dci-p3)

    Misc commits:
    - slider: add extra options (vibrate and ring) #idea from streetwalrus
    - indicate that op3/t has dash charge #by nvertigo67
    - gps: XTRA: use https and check for version 3 #by nvertigo67
    - AAPT: adjust config to the physical abillities of 3t's display #by nvertigo67
    - op3t: init: allow the gpu to drop to 133 MHz on idle on op3t/sd821 #by nvertigo67

    Major KERNEL changes:
    - build with gcc 7.3.1
    - added maple scheduler
    - added zen (v2) scheduler
    - added alucard governor
    - added smartmax_eps governor
    - added backlightdimmer option
    - added gpu-boost scaling option

    Big fat red notes:
    1. Since I'm not the creator of these commits, the whole respect goes to the respective authors/owners. . My job was to collect the necessary commits and merge them with the latest rr and/or caesium sources.

    2. I'm just an ordinary guy who didn't find the right custom rom for him which has all the features that he wants. I'm not really familiar with git and linux and so on to keep track of the real authorship/owner-chain - I have to apologize. If you are in the same situation like me - go ahead: flash and report. if not, keep scrolling.

    3. I don't want any donations or anything else. Just let me know if this is usefull for you and/or if you want to keep updated about this build (im building and updating this build anyways - but its about saving time to write such a post and uploading the build).

    have a great day :highfive:

    //edit:
    - added some screenshots
    - you will find wakelock and alarm blocker within rr-configuration -> misc. if you are not able to see them you have to switch the rr-configuration layout

    You should create your thread

    @mcdachpappe

This looks great man, create your own thread maybe!

hm maybe I'll do this in the near future. i still dont know if people are using this build or not and how much unofficial builds are allowed here on xda because there is already one by fraegg. does anybody know the rules/limitations for this?

Whatever that may be - update time!
I updated/upstreamed (as promised) my build to the latest rr sources and applied "my" modifications on top again.

    you will get:
    - all the latest changes by the rr team until 20180315 8pm (CEST +1)
    - all the features mentioned in my introducing post
    plus
    - headsup notification: timeout and snooze option (rr configuration - interface - heads up

Guys, is it okay if i only update the OP on weekends as mostly i'm free on sat-sun? just asking, since i feel bad that i'm not able to keep the thread updated on a daily basis, although i try my best to update whenever i'm free. Also, please share any suggestions if you have. btw, i have removed some roms from OP which are no longer active.
