Copy and paste command prompt after you do all of the fastboot commands. Otherwise, take screenshots.
Not is how to recover that register since it has from Sunday or Monday, but I have the commands that use

fastboot flash partition gpt.bin
fastboot flash bootloader bootloader.img
fastboot flash logo logo.bin
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.0
fastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.1
fastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.2
fastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.3
fastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.4
fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin
fastboot erase modemst1
fastboot erase modemst2
fastboot flash fsg fsg.mbn
fastboot erase cache
fastboot erase userdata
fastboot reboot

These are also the first to use where maybe from spoiling it

fastboot flash partition gpt.bin
fastboot flash bootloader bootloader.img
fastboot flash logo logo.bin
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.0
fastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.1
fastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.2
fastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.3
fastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.4
fastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.5
fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin
fastboot erase modemst1
fastboot erase modemst2
fastboot flash fsg fsg.mbn
fastboot erase cache
fastboot erase userdata
fastboot reboot

Motorola deleted this file from its server after only a few days. I also deleted it from my Filefactory folder.

XT1543_OSPREY_RETLA_DS_6.0_MPI24.65-25_cid12_subsidy-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip

Apparently it's missing some sparse chunks. I would avoid flashing it.

Flash the 2GB version in the meantime.

There should be up to sparse chunk 6 in G3 Marshmallow firmware. There's a reason Motorola deleted it but everyone can make their own decisions I suppose. It's just a heads up.

But the XT1543_OSPREY_RETLA_DS_2GB_6.0_MPI24.65-25.1_cid12 file is without link...

Hello! I hope someone can point me and help me with this.

I have an XT1540. I was on 5.1 and updated it OTA to 6.0; decided to unlock the bootloader, and then to boot TWRP to root my cellphone... but I stupidly flashed root for 5.1, so I was stuck on the "bootloader warning image". When I tried to use fastboot to flash stock 5.1, error (bootloader) "Preflash validation failed" appeared! So the best solution was to install CM 12, which installed flawlessly using TWRP. But I want to go back to original stock 5.1 FW, what can I do?

Please don't post the same question in multiple threads. Are you relocking bootloader? fastboot oem lock?

Sorry for that... tried to erase the other post; but couldn't figure how to do it.
Nope, i'm not relocking the bootloader (should I do it?)... it's currently unlocked!

What happens if you use the following command prior to flashing in fastboot, a factory firmware image:
fastboot oem unlock

Tip: Give me a log. Copy and paste from command prompt. Take screenshots.

Thanks for helping me with this :) As soon as I get to my house I'll do it. Thanks again!
