so...to upgrade to mm by flashing factory imageYes. But always perform a 'Factory data reset' in Android before flashing any Firmware Image.
Yes. In addition, if Bootloader is locked; you may want to 'enable OEM Unlock' in Developer settings. This would give you the further option of unlocking Bootloader if needed, in the unlikely event a problem booting arises. This option can be enabled and disabled without ever requesting an unlock key from Motorola.so...to upgrade to mm by flashing factory image
1- make a backup of your data (foto, music etc) 'cause everythings goes lost, eventually remove also micro sd card
2- go to setting >> backup and restore and do a "Factory data reset" and wait procedure is complete...
3- shout down the phone
4- start bootloader (pwr button + vol-)
5- flash factory image as in this guide

Hey guys!!
I would like to know if there is a way to figure out my cellphone's firmware taking a look on bootloader screen?
My phone is not starting correctly so i cannot take a look on "manufcturer options".
What about flashing XT1541 2GB EU version on a 2GB UK model?Firmware Images are added to first post as they become available. If it's not there, it's not available.
You can flash 2GB Firmware Images on a 1GB phone, and have zero issues at all. However you may also be setting yourself up for a hard fall if Motorola's OTA Update decides it does not like what you have done to your phone.
The only way to be totally safe is to flash the intended Firmware for your phone. If it's not in first post, you have no choice but to wait.
Any XT1541 Firmware image should work on any XT1541 model without issue. Also, see my next comment. What about flashing XT1541 2GB EU version on a 2GB UK model?
It's not possible to change bands simply by flashing a firmware image. Lollipop Bootloaders for Osprey are the same across all models - I believe this tradition continues with Marshmallow. If i flash an xt1540 1gb us image on an xt1541 retail france device , the device doesn't recognise the eu sim card (vodafone ro) , and i get ota updates for us version . So , if i flash us image for an eu device , it will change bands ?
Flashing my device's radio firmware files restored the cellular connectivity , tyAny XT1541 Firmware image should work on any XT1541 model without issue. Also, see my next comment.

What may differ is the radio (modem) firmware. In your case, you may need to flash the XT1541 radio firmware files (NON-HOLS.bin and fsg.mbn) from either a Lollipop or Marshmallow firmware image. If this does not restore cellular connectivity, and you are running XT1540 Marshmallow; then the 6.0 radio firmware files for your specific model (XT1541) are required. Also be sure to do a 'Factory data reset' in Android settings prior to flashing and fastboot erase userdata after flashing - to remove those areas as a potential trouble-source.
To clarify, the required commands for flashing Radio Firmware:
fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin
fastboot erase modemst1
fastboot erase modemst2
fastboot flash fsg fsg.mbn
An OTA Update can, and often will - update everything: Bootloader, Radio Firmware and System. So , if i flash an factory image from another device (let's say us edition) and flash all except radio firmware files and bootloader and gpt (<- I never flash those cuz i don't want an softbrick) , I get the ota's of that particular device , even if it is another device and i can still use my cellular network (european) ? And if i let ota's update my device , I need to flash again my radio firmware ? And an ota update can update/modify the bootloader ?
