Android version number is clearly stated in each firmware name. 5.1.1 means 5.1.1. 6.0 means 6.0, not 6.0.1 or 6.0.2.

Yes, all of this ROM are official, if you have for example the XT1541, you can download the ROM android 6.0 official and install it, in this model, the only rom for android6 now is for the EU (europe) version, but dont worry is for the same model, so if you have the XT1541, its will works

No, you dont have to unlock bootloader, everything remains motorola stock. So you will not loose warranty.

I'm the same as you, but I'm on French retail, I'm thinking of flashing eu retail 5.1 but not sure if it's worth it.
