Although I flashed the whole mm firmware including the logo.bin, the logo I'm getting is the old one, instead of the new one].
Maybe it didn't flash properly. Could someone please post the logo.bin file so I don't need to download it again as I've already deleted the firmware? Or does everybody have the same logo?
Are you following the tutorial? Are you actually flashing all of the sparsechunk files in your zip and not just copy and pasting the tutorial? Did you do a 'Factory data reset' before flashing?i flash xt1550 android 6 this file, Retail Asia | India (2GB) - XT1550_OSPREY_RETASIA_DS_2GB_6.0_MPI24.65-25_cid7 after flash, logo comes & restart pls help![]()
I never said anything was broken or wasn't working, I'm not sure why you quoted me.Are you following the tutorial? Are you actually flashing all of the sparsechunk files in your zip and not just copy and pasting the tutorial? Did you do a 'Factory data reset' before flashing?
It might also help to see a log of the flashing process. Copy and paste command prompt screen. Take screenshots if necessary.

Why? It will always be marked as having been unlocked, so why bother locking it again, there is zero gain and most people would say this could be negative if you have ever manually flashed anything.relock commd pls for xt1557 . i want lock again bootloader
When i unlocked my moto g3 i dont see nothing about loose the warranty, and also if you read the European laws about this, its allowed to the customer change the software of the phone. Why? FYI, relocking will not regain your warranty, it was gone the moment you accepted Moto's T&C and got the token, even if you didn't actually unlock it.
This isn't kind of OT for this thread, Google it... All recent Motorola devices do it the same way. You must wipe and clean flash your stock rom image in the process.

Then your the first person to not get this, and lots of Europeans here have unlocked their devices. I can't say anything about your local laws, but Motorola's website makes it extremely clear that by going through the process you accept the T&C and you agree that your warranty is voided by getting the unlock token. When i unlocked my moto g3 i dont see nothing about loose the warranty, and also if you read the European laws about this, its allowed to the customer change the software of the phone.
When i unlocked the phone i read something about warning your phone will be damage, after searching in internet about the European laws in this cases, sais the customer will dont loose the warranty of the phone by a software modification, so i understand, if the phone will be damage by a unofficial software maybe you can loose the warrany, but if the problem is for the hardware, it will be fixed by the warranty. you can find info about your local law in internet. in Europe is like this,Then your the first person to not get this, and lots of Europeans here have unlocked their devices. On the other hand, if local laws say it does not void the warranty, why bother relocking?

True... I just Googled it, Motorola did say that European customers who unlock will still have a partial warranty for the hardware only, any software issue or an issue caused by software modification, will not be covered. Guess that GMT tax gets balanced out a little bit here and there. When i unlocked the phone i read something about warning your phone will be damage, after searching in internet about the European laws in this cases, sais the customer will dont loose the warranty of the phone by a software modification, so i understand, if the phone will be damage by a unofficial software maybe you can loose the warrany, but if the problem is for the hardware, it will be fixed by the warranty. you can find info about your local law in internet. in Europe is like this,

Yes, is nice to know about this, in this case with Motorola, they take a lot of time to put out the 6.0 version, when always was a faster brand doing this, for this reason i didnt wait for android m on my phone, i was installed CM13, and it works really good! all working, good velocity, the battery expend the same than stock motorola 5.1.1, a great option CM13.True... Developer editions will still be covered under full warranty, software and hardware, worldwide even if unlocked.
That seems to have been the case with European models on the older G models also. Originally I thought it was because the 2nd Gen European model came out with 2 different displays, one good, one terrible. Since Motorola has closed the US manufactoring facility and they're all made in the same place, I guess the European laws are a little better in that regard. Of course, Motorola has the small print that states that they're the final decision on whether it's hardware or failure due to software.

Is it working without any problems? I think of this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2572083here successfully flashed on unlocked 2gb model...
thanks...
p.s. just noticed that this MM firmware comes with an extra sparsechunk.6 so i had to add this fastboot command to your guide:
Code:fastboot oem fb_mode_set fastboot flash partition gpt.bin fastboot flash bootloader bootloader.img fastboot flash logo logo.bin fastboot flash boot boot.img fastboot flash recovery recovery.img fastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.0 fastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.1 fastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.2 fastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.3 fastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.4 fastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.5 fastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.6 fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin fastboot erase modemst1 fastboot erase modemst2 fastboot flash fsg fsg.mbn fastboot erase cache fastboot erase userdata fastboot erase customize fastboot erase clogo fastboot oem fb_mode_clear fastboot reboot
to be honest i think it's just the same.... no graphical differences at all... that string in build.prop does not much ....Is it working without any problems? I think of this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2572083
From my perspective, if there is a question mark over logo.bin not flashing successfully - then there is a question mark over the entire flashing process.I never said anything was broken or wasn't working, I'm not sure why you quoted me.
