my friend says custom rom drains battery faster does [ROM]-[2019.10.10]-MiuiMiX_2.0_raphael-[9.0- 10]-[Official] do it or its just my friend saying

also used this rom to my k20 pro with mi9t pro stock rom and had no problem installing it its just that my friend told me that this drain battery faster which i didnt feel coz i play arknights and honkai impact alot [ROM]-[2019.10.10]-MiuiMiX_2.0_raphael-[9.0- 10]-[Official]

I flashed latest firmare miui 11.0.4 than i flash evo x 4.20.1 raphael both are latest versions. than i reboot to system bcoz my phone is encrypted but my phone shows redmi logo & than boot into twrp.
I tryied many times to boot into system but it stuck at redmi logo & boot into twrp all the time.
What goes wrong.
I wiped dalvik, catch, data before flashing miui firmware & evo x rom zip.
What should i do now.
I have otg as well.
Plz help.

Whenever switching ROMs you M U S T Format (not Wipe) Data - otherwise no ROM will work properly.
Don't ask about backup, etc - one has to be aware of in advance (the guides are available elswhere)

This is what I have done:

1 - Instal OrangeFox
2 - Format data
3 - Install custom rom

Did not work...

Another try:

1 - Install OrangeFox
2 - Format data
3 - Used MiFlash tool to flash original rom
4 - Install OrangeFox
5 - Install custom rom

Nothing worked :/

Make sure you are really using Format Data, not Wipe Data (two different options in TWRP, they act differently)

Consider using TWRP, not OF
