@szezso rom is not CM. He has taken a stock rom and removed a lot of the vendor apps and a few other tweaks. Not had the problem with the volume. Why not try the kernel @Svennen gave us in post #507. He was having audio problems with the stock rom and it seems that his kernel has fixed it for a few people as he had requests.

@w1040 I use apps like Rom Toolbox Lite and Rom Manager that give you an option to boot straight into recovery from the your main screen. Sure there are others that do the same.

All i got on 507 was boot.rar if this correct how do i flash it i flashed the rom from recovery that went fine but how do i do this.

All i got on 507 was boot.rar if this correct how do i flash it i flashed the rom from recovery that went fine but how do i do this.

Got me there @barclac. Looks like he is replacing a zip in backup in recovery with his winrar. Not sure how that works. Maybe restore that package? Can we have some more detail @Svennen?

Unpack the boot.img from my dropbox. Open the rom-zip with winrar, replace boot.img with mine.

Thanks for explaining what to do but it isnt that bad only notifacations volume is down everything else is normal .

I just got an awesome idea for that reboot to recovery problem
@aureljared you have to apply this commit to kernel https://github.com/KINGbabasula/u8500_kernel/commit/c26c8af0a9e0287a94c540559884bebff7f909c0 changing mmcblk0p1 to your /mnt/.lfs partition

Guys, if you want to flash szezso rom without any problem, open de zip with 7zip or winrar and delete boot.img and build.prop. @szezso the egl driver shouldn't be 0 0 adreno200? on my old s advance was 0 0 mali, but maybe because its a different hardware

- Bluetooth
- Audio (but with the same problem, the audio is faster)


What doesn't:
- WiFi
- Video Recording
- Video Playback
- NFC
- Random reboot may happen

No, I won't upload my sources till I can figure out the random reboot stuff. You're a bit impolite. I've just made something possible on this phone, and you're asking about a newer one. I don't care about Kitkat till the CM10.1 won't work properly. Then with a small work, the CM10.2 will work, then CM11...

Respect, and yes, any CM would be great because it performs 10x times faster than stock touchwiz...

Hmm, I have ideas for all of the issues. The WiFi is a module problem, Vrec/Vplayback/Hot reboots -> wrong display setup in the kernel, Camera -> missing libs, RIL -> also. Today night I'll have time to solve them... But, I have to say, this CM is BLAZING fast on my phone! Can't be compared to TouchWiz!
