@tanrsquare You need to use Linux to extract the files inside boot.img or recovery.img. Google for tutorials on that. You will have to use binaries named mkbootimg and unmkbootimg.

Thanks aureljared for tht info... Now I understand better abt boot.img n recovery.img. I researched on Google b4... But most info I got is abt Linux cmds n abt the starting bits which after tht need gunzip etc etc. I read abt too boot.img is the same as recovery.img too. And lots of Linux environment n operations seems only Linux OS can work. Hmmm... think I can giv it up as I doesn't hav Linux running n I'm nt really gd at it. Me too serving my nation n doesn't have too much time. Haha. Anyway ok lets wait Petratu for the work...

You can run Linux in a VM, you know. Anyways I won't be forcing you to do that, lol. Tried a lot of CWM images I compiled but my phone won't boot into any of them. It just boots back into android.

Thank you! Do you have a device tree or kernel on github? Or is the development at the very start?

sadly there is no development... i don't have the knowledge, i am more of a modder.
the community is small here on xda, for now the phone works flawless, but i don't know what will happen in a year or two...
the first step is building a cwm or twrp recovery and second a ROM or a kernel with OC, the guys on htc one SV (same specs) have a kernel with OC
and on top of that my time is very limited :(

These seem weird mountpoints... Could you check with root explorer in /dev/block if there are some mmcblk files?
