dont like that rom at all, its very tweaky, "hackery", for dudes who think they are hackers or some ****, runinng around in baseball cap and sneakers

not stylish at all, even the boot anim makes me cringe. to much options, to much stuff for an old phone that it doesnt need.
those options to put pictures etc in the notification pulldown, configure different fonts, transparencies etc.... omg ... WHY???
unnecessary customisation options that just makes the UI look like **** and cluttered. yet when you need to find some important setting its a nightmare, or not there at all.

a good UI, good user experience should look stylish, sleek, simple, minimalistic right out of the box, no need for hours of customisation!
that is why I**** is so successful, they know how to be stylish out of the box.

Wow. Cool down, got up with the wrong foot?
I for one like the feature richness of RR and overall the whole ROM. And I used it on the i9305 till I sold it. You have a lot of choices for Lollipop ROMs, but you can be sure, the support by security updates on Lollipop will die sooner than for up to date ROMs.
Why do you prefer Lollipop over newer versions?

I am eagerly waiting for the rom you developed and would be happy to test it. You are invited by heard, which was already said some weeks ago. You are claiming again and again and not contibuting any useful stuff. Why don't you just and simple go back to Samsung KK stock rom? There you have everything working and in relation to the possibilities the device originally was supposed to be or to work from Samsung. And please do me a favour: do not use any of the roms, I ported or built for the i9305, anymore.

rodman01, you are absolutely right with each and every word of your statement. Since he or she re-appeared on XDA about six months ago after an obvious break of two years (thanks god!) each and every of his/her post is simply a pain in the ... I don't know how old he/she is but the shown attitude reminds me of a pubescent snotty-nosed brat. *****ing around but without a positive approach to find a solution to a problem; to demand something but for free and without any personal engagement.
Let this guy bake an own ROM, and I pray for someone (maybe grandma) gifts him/her a new device that is hopeful not an i9305 to have him/her abandon this forum forever.

dude, this is just over the top. you started attacking me on personal level few weeks ago for no reason, just because criticising CM and its camera problems (completely justified critic!). really who do you think you are, and to tell whos to write what and where??? omg. back off.

this is an aggregated thread for all the roms for the s3LTE.
dare you state that I cant write a critic here about general quality and/or availability as a power user (a hell of that!), as long as im NOT BEING RUDE (your definition of rude: not being a fanboy, sorry)

difference between us: you are a developer, im a power user. i use this phone for a lot of different stuff as a tool, not some prize that i need to customize for days on.
i tried ~30 different roms before writing any critic or conclusion. im not bashing about like some idiot.
yes i stand by my opinion that
not having a working camera for CM is atrocious as this phone was the flagship when the whole CM got really popular, if any phone should have everything sorted out then THIS!
having a lot of weird quirks and features for an old phone is unecessary, it will just interfere or freeze some obscure app that you happen to be needing very much.

I dont understand you and sorry to offend you. To my undertanding you are not a developer of this rom, you are ported and maintaing it. As such I didnt criticized or bashed you in ANY way. I believe the features i mentioned are not your design or choice, its in the original rom presumaby for most phones.... All in all I didnt targeted you in any way, naturally!

I assure you I put good use the roms I installed from you, for serious work, and not FB+Porn or games or lame things!

By the way I did contribute! it was finally stated by YOU for my question that the CM camera isnt working for this phone and never worked. This info is nowhere to be found. You start googleing it and find 100 pages of contradicting info. there you have it. at least its written somewhere now in plain text.

You are right and thanks. I educated myself about LP that its just a ****tier version of MM. I was hoping then, that the older OS version is maybe simpler and putting less toll on the phone. but everyone writes it wont give such benefits, only more problems. it just wasnt a good version to bother with

Every version had its benefit. I would turn it around, LP wasn't a ... version of MM, it just was the predecessor and without it MM wouldn't be the superior successor.

If you don't only work on things, but also invest a lot of spare time without being paid for and you love what you do - and I believe all that is what @rodman01 stands for - than there is maybe only one side who can criticise him: his family and friends for his absence. @rodman01's work helped me to keep the i9305 for such a long time.
BTW, he also is the backbone of the i9305 development and building on XDA. It's better to help him debugging instead of playing the bad guy. I also don't see a problem with design or ergonomy as the TouchWiz is already gone in RR and other free ROMs.

Love it, change it or leave it.

Hi. It's about the devs if they're still interested in developing for a device. Personally I doubt that this device won't get Oreo. For this device there is one main developer building several ROMs. If he keeps on working for this device, you'll surely get a choice of some ROMs, that's pretty cool and I really like that to have the choice.
But it's also up to members helping to debug ROMs with some issues. Handing over log files on strange behavior is very important. So if Oreo development starts, it's also you, who can help. I would appreciate that!

And as always, remember, don't ask for an ETA, cause this is poison .

Hi, I think I've found a bug. My blouthout headseat does not work. It's possible to connect to the phone and I'll hear it but those I'm talking to hear nothing. And it's alike in all the rooms I've tried. From lollipop to oryo and they are the ones that can be found online. This applies to an S3 I9305. Is there any more that has occurred to this problem
