Information:
There are three distinct versions of the Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE; Galaxy S4 LTE-A SK (SHV-E330S, ks01lteskt), Galaxy S4 LTE-A KT (SHV-E330K, ks01ltektt) and Galaxy S4 LTE + International (GT-I9506, ks01lte). The ROMs/kernels are NOT cross-compatible (unless otherwise stated in the respective threads).
The Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE models are more similar to the Samsung Galaxy Note 3's hardware than any of the other S4 variants (i9500, i9505, i9505G), but unfortunately they are still not compatible with Note 3 ROMs/kernels

Any news on reuse from Note 3?Have anybody contacted like the nice fella Temasek that does awesome kernels for Note 3?

Maybe he has some input?
I'm running the W03 Slim-inspired tomorrow for Note 3. Really awesome. That is one of the best Cm built Roms I've used and being this old I must have tried over 50 roms at least over the years. No more TouchWiz copies that basically are the same with some added things. Still TouchWiz and still the same backdoor we found et al.

Never TW and I just hope that it's not in the bootloader...

But then. This phone was rushed. Knox turned off, or not turned on. Forgot, was the bootloader locked or was it open as well?

I still play with it but time is a major constraint for me.

Wish I could do more since I still strongly believe, and my master in Technology points so much towards the screen I still think that should be investigated. If it's not software controlled but in the hardware it's not in the chip but periferial and that can be fixed by some welding.

But then. Fix the schematic and I give you a car. Promise. A nice Fiat 126p.

Oh, try to get the techncial documentation for the Snapdragon. That is guarded like it was a state secret. Some guys tried to get them. Like all normal companies that have them open on their pages. You want to know what you buy, right? Not Qualcomm. Leads to a some interesting questions. What are they hiding?

I have a pretty educated guess. Do you if you think for 15 seconds?

But since my absence I see nobody compared the kernels . Is that a lack of interest or lack of time?

@DrDee Update on OP needed, Arter97 Has pack of roms out for GT-I9506, fully working CM 11 etc, and Solk2 going also forward. @Absolon, Port from note 3 is here.

Yea, not sure this index is needed TBH. I was expecting a little more interest in this device once custom ROMs started working 99%. I don't see this page ever having more than a half dozen posts that are pertinent so really don't need to index 6 posts....

There aren't any kernels for stock KitKat? I'd really love to flash extsd2internalsd!

EDIT: Excuse my ignorance, I'm new in the Samsung world as I used to have a HTC. Kernels are under the Unified development.

There is no unification with other S4 phones. Don't flash wrong kernels.

Absolutely not agree.
More then month using CM12 by arter97- zero random reboots, zero battery drain. 3h+ SOT battery life on data and 4h+ on wifi. works everything for daily usage better then CM11 thanks to Temasek and Arter97.
