I was able to root easy enough. Bootloader version and the recovery still elude me. I dont know how to check my bootloader # and im not able to boot into recovery. I did however install goomanager and let it install twrp recovery image? Thats as far as i have gotten.

Since you are stock and not unlocked your boot loader version will be the same as the ROM version.Hi Tylor, nice to meet you. No sir. I wasn't sure about that. Now i am thank you. How do i determine if bootloader is up to date before i proceed?

You haven't installed a custom recovery. Check your PM.Ok, bootloader is the latest. However I keep getting this "open andy" image when I attempt to boot into recovery. I have even factory reset, rooted, goomanager, download twrp from there, and tried again with the same results.

I did not but i seen the bootloader verion in the top left of that image. I read that somehow i would have to downgrade, then unlock, then root, goomanager, twrp? :what:I do not see you mentioning that you have unlocked?

Im gonna give it a shot.... wish me luckYou can use the unlock tool on 4.2.1. so,
1. Unlock using the tool from the website.
2. Root using Motochopper
3. Install TWRP 2.5 via GooManager
4. Flash Away. CROMiX can be flashed over stock 4.2.1, but to install cyanogenmod or other ROMS you must perform a full advanced wipe, do not include MicroSD though. Also before flashing a ROM, make a backup in TWRP before flashing ANYTHING.
Its not as simple but that is the process. Be careful that you have a compatible recovery and boot loader, such as TWRP and either the 4.1.1 10.4.4.25 or the 4.2.1 10.6.1.14.4. or the 10.6.1.14.8 boot loader.

Remember that is just the rough guide. But each has its specified thread where information about each thing in the thread is explained more. After installing TWRP via GooManager, you need to boot into it by booting into the boot loader and selecting RCK and it should boot into TWRP.Im gonna give it a shot.... wish me luck

I understand. When I use the Power+ volume down button, there's text in the top left corner which read:Remember that is just the rough guide. Yes you are on a 4.2.1 boot loader, the tool still works with it.I understand. When I use the Power+ volume down button, there's text in the top left corner which read:
Android cardhu-user bootloader <1.00 e> released by "US_epad-10.6.1.14.8-20130514" A03
Key driver not found..Booting 05
Starting Fastboot USB download protocol
Is that the correct bootloader version? I can proceed if it is then? (already have apk downloaded)![]()
Awesome!:highfive:Yes you are on a 4.2.1 boot loader, the tool still works with it.

Hey, the Cromi-X 4.2 Rom shown is far out of date. SBDAGS is on 5.1.1 as of 10/27/13
