Using the Report Button​

Why use the Report Button?

Use the Report button to notify the moderation team that there is a problem.​

Here are some examples, for reporting a post.​

• Spam
• The thread needs to be moved to a more appropriate section.
• Abuse/Threats/Off-Topic
• Other Rules have been Broken

How to use the Report Button.

Below every post, on the right side, there is a Report button​

Click on that button​

This box will pop-up​

Fill out the Reason field​

and click Report.​

​

​

Follow Up

After the report is reviewed, a Moderator will send an update as an alert.​

Most reports are handled within a few hours.​

It's possible it may take a few days before you get a response/resolution.​

Stop those emojis showing up in your posts​

So you are trying to post some code on XDA and you are getting emojis in the code.
Or you want to post a non-Clickable URL

• Option 1: Use the Quick Code box
  •

  • Click on this icon </> (Code)
  • Spoiler: Select the type of code Default is General

Who's idea was it to remove categories? It's completely non intuitive.

Isolating threads or even types of thread has become tedious..

Collating all the types of threads into one place is logical plus extremely familiar.

I don't understand why this was altered, it's a seriously bad idea..keep the tags for sure but the decision to remove the actual
