Thanks to @plegdroid for the tip.

A really useful feature I've stumbled on from within the app, is direct Web search of any highlighted text, ...works with translation also.

Log-in Issues Logging in the app

Login to XDA in Default Mobile browser.
Change your password if it's been a while,
older passwords have been causing issues with the app.

1. Download the app.
2. Open app
3. Tap Get Started.
4. Tap LOG IN
5. Tap Authorize
6. Select Just Once has worked best for me.
7. That should be it.

Troubleshooting Sign-in

If log-in fails and you are seeing 2 apps to choose from like this.

Try selecting the 2nd app, it may take several tries before log-in is successful.



If sign-in fails and you selected Always, you will need to go to settings/apps and remove Open by default setting.
If the app will not stay open or gets stuck, try rebooting the device.
If you can not log in, try selecting the guest option and sign in inside the app.

Here How my old passwork worked
- I needed to signout from mobile default browser
- Then opened Mobile new App - Login - authorized

For anyone looping at the "Authorize" part of the login process...
Basically clear the app defaults, then login, Authorize then pick one of the "Xda app" to open. Do not set as default just yet. If it loops back, login again, this time pick the other "xda app". It should log you in.

OK so for your information, it is due to Firefox, I don't know why, but the login succeeded with Chrome...

Try chrome. Had the same problem on my tablet, I'm using daily Samsung Browser, but to login to new XDA app, turn on Chrome (just always had turned off, cause I'm not using Chrome, prefer browser from Samsung), than update Chrome from GP, and after unninstall XDA app, and install it again, I loged in to XDA app.

That's not what I'm asking, but okay. Guess it's a no
