Can anyone here suggest a good matte screen protector for the S21 Ultra? I've been using the factory fitted one from the beginning and it held up surprisingly well until now. Had a couple of deep scratches on the matte surface and it's started bothering me...
Even a good quality tempered glass protector would suffice.

I sincerely am jealous at you for having used the pre fit one till now! I have been trying to find the best one for a long time but couldn't. I went for a tempered one and the fit wasn't proper so had to change it, multiple esr screen guards and some others and currently using the one below. If you are looking for edge to edge this is the best option. But if u want to use a case, then it'll peel definitely! There was a company called gadgetgear earlier which was actually perfect, couldn't find it though.
YashMart Matte Screen Guard for Galaxy S21 Ultra (Front & Back), Unbreakable Membrane Hydrogel Front and Back Matte Screen Protector for Galaxy S21 Ultra, Edge to Edge Full Screen Coverage (Matte) https://www.amazon.in/dp/B08Z48GM2B...abc_N1CSS90CBAE6YFMAD036?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

I know this is an old thread but if someone is thinking about buying a US version, DO NOT BUY, because, with One UI 4, they have stopped supporting VoLTE outside the US. I am on a business trip in India and JIO sim or Airtel SIM would not work on my Samsung Galaxy S21+.

Post the A12 update. Having issues with Airtel. 4g dropping to Edge very quickly and randomly. A bit disappointed with that.
Phone gotta do basic phone things properly and adequately atleast! Hah!

Yes... I can confirm i'm having the same issue. I thought it was because my office was in a bad network area. When the Wi-Fi at home was disconnected, I noticed the same issue there as well.

Also Android Auto is still wonked. Keeps disconnecting... Have no issues with other devices including a Samsung Tab. This is really frustrating.

Guys! I'm fed up looking for the perfect screen guard and most probably have spent atleast ₹7K on screen guards and i really can't invest anymore!
TPU/plastic ones are peeling on the sides, especially with spigen cases
Tempered glasses have not helped me with fingerprint scanner
Mall installed one is not letting me have full coverage and the service sucks
How's your experience using without a screen guard? Any scratches? My concern is scratches and not shattering as i have taken Samsung care. If not can you please help in suggesting a new one?
The ones I have already tried are
Gadgetgear very good
Yashmart very good but peels from side
Gadgetshieldz messy install and peels from the side
ESR peeling from the wide
Mobile coat or some brand at a local mall no full coverage

No real solution to this issue. Curved screen is bound to have this problem. I've resorted to changing the screen guard every 2-3 months (usually mine doesn't peel for around that time, unless by accident). A 3 pack of ESR costs Rs 719, I've convinced myself that's reasonable cost for the scratch protection. Don't know any other better solution.

I literally bought my S10e only because of not having curved screen due to screen guard issues of my S8! I am also going with ESR again as i know u vouch for it and I too didn't have much problem with it except for with my Spigen. I have ordered Dbrand grip case with leather back the other day so I'm worried if it'll mix well.

See,the problem I have with that approach (one I'm also planning to follow) is that the bloody factory screen protector is rock solid after 7 months on my phone. So it CAN be done....why can't we just buy THAT protector from Samsung.

Wish i could buy that one too. But they don't sell it. And i think one of the reasons it's so good is the mode of application at the factory. I'm not sure end users could apply it at home even if Samsung sold it to us. It probably requires some heated press in a vacuum chamber using a specialised machine or something that will be difficult to replicate in a non industrial application process. I'm pretty sure it's not hand applied at Samsung factories.

There are companies such as Mobicoat that apply 'nano coated' screen protects with 'life-time' warranty. They do a pretty decent job almost matching the factory screen protector. They are present in big malls. Maybe they are worth a try? Like if it peels off, you go and pay 200-odd rupees and get a new one. I have been using them since my s9 days.

I have tried it, they have very bad service! The first time it was awesome but every single time after that they have messed up the alignment as well.

I actually called the service center and they told me they can't do. Actually, I think S8 had the screen protector seperately but that sucked very badly!
