But I am getting the same as S21, S22 series. Any thing I need to do?To be honest, S23 battery is much better compared to last flagship in recent years
Easily getting 8 to 9 hrs SOT in 24 hrs, also that with all the time on 5G + watch connected
Probably I wrote earlier in this group. But I am getting the same as S21, S22 series. Any thing I need to do?

Both are belongs to OXM group of csc and whether you flash INS firmware or UAE firmware, it will make 0 differencePlease can anyone kindly confirm here if I can using ODIN, flash the INS Indian firmware of S23 ultra on a S23 ultra (256GB) bought from Dubai (model no. SM-S918BZGCMEA) without any issues and with full functionality of the Indian firmware?
I want to do this only to get better carrier support in India as well as for built-in call recording option.
Secondly, will payment apps like Gpay, Paytm , misc banking apps etc work normally after the flashing on the Dubai bought phone?
Thirdly, will Samsung members work too? (not important though)
Lastly, will warranty still be intact after the flashing?
Thanks so much in advance.
Thank you so much, very appreciated. Both are belongs to OXM group of csc and whether you flash INS firmware or UAE firmware, it will make 0 difference
Indeed both firmware are ditto same and your carrier support will be determined by SIM you have inserted.
You will need to give more info.
Probably best to be more precise - how many hours is "overnight"? Also, do you have AOD enabled?I am losing around 5% of battery overnight.
Is this normal for everyone?
That's purely subjective though, and very user dependent. For example, I could make a strong argument (and consistent with probably what you might come up with) that the only "adequate" protection for the cameras is with some sort of physical cover over them like:None of the Samsung official cases has adequately raised lip protection for the cameras @ 23U, none of them.
By overnight I mean 8-9 hours.Probably best to be more precise - how many hours is "overnight"? Also, do you have AOD enabled?
So you lose about 0.5-0.6% per hour with AOD disabled. That's probably about right - I would probably lose about half that, but I rarely have any activity overnight and have quite a minimalist setup.By overnight I mean 8-9 hours.
AOD is set to 'tap to display', so it's not working overnight.
I also close all the apps before sleeping.
I have only WiFi on overnight, all other things are off.So you lose about 0.5-0.6% per hour with AOD disabled. That's probably about right - I would probably lose about half that, but I rarely have any activity overnight and have quite a minimalist setup.
EDIT: other variables would also include type of SIM etc, WiFi, bluetooth, and other auto-connectivity options enabled or disabled etc. I believe this would influence things by up to 1-3%.
There are several non-Samsung cases with same thickness as Samsung but with raised lips(all spigen, ringke cases) that actually does a much better job at protecting the lenses without being bulky. I think the Samsung leather case tries to ensure the phone sits completely flat when placing the phone down. That is, there is absolutely no rocking of the phone no matter where you press on the phone with the phone laid down on its back. There are several non-Samsung cases with same thickness as Samsung but with raised lips(all spigen, ringke cases) that actually does a much better job at protecting the lenses without being bulky. With the official cases, one needs to be extra careful. I checked with the leather case as well as the clear case from Samsung - keeping on a rough table cloth or any surface with sand particles or such touch the lenses with the cases ON.
Spigen thin fit, spigen Liquid air, Ringke Fusion bumper that I am using - the raised lips are minimal yet trustwhorthy and do not make the phone rock at all....
But yes, you can use other cases if you want more raised lips, but you'll have to accept a potentially rocking phone, or a thicker overall case.
Well technically they are either slightly thicker case overall or they will make the phone rock. If they don't make the phone rock, then the raised lips must be so subtle that it becomes dubious whether there's practically much extra protection.Spigen thin fit, spigen Liquid air, Ringke Fusion bumper that I am using - the raised lips are minimal yet trustwhorthy and do not make the phone rock at all.
People in India are obsessed by iPhones because of the "Luxury" it offers and so there are lots of UAE phones here which either came through smuggling or from asking a friend to bring. It costs 1.14 for 14 Pro Max 256gb and that is from Apple Store. But prices in Amazon and other shops are even less because there same phones are available even from USA at 94k. All these phones have flooded the market and all of them have international warranty that people keep buying them up. As a customer I will only think about warranty and not the area from where the phone came from and so people take loans and whatever to buy these contraband. When they can't repay or don't like the phone, they sell it off flooding the second hand market. Right now these are the prices of new phones in my cityWelcome back. Any idea why the iPhone resale has dropped? I heard more people than ever are buying them in India...?
Mutiple eSIM networks can be saved in the same eSIM space, one cannot use the eSIM if phone is lost+ good for network providers/concerned authorities for tracking, SIM swapping is most likely a tiny bit harder for scammers as compared the physical ones, precious space is saved by phone makers etc.. - if we think about benefits.!
Yeah.. That is why i'm waiting for the Tab S9 series to launch instead of going for the Tab S8 series. The difference between s22 ultra and s23 ultra is day and night and the only main difference is the chipset. After months of usage, let's all agree to the fact that Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy is a fantastic, gem of a chipset. 🫡
Samsung should work on the cameras with updates, I have no other complaints with the 23U.
Totally satisfied with battery performance this year.View attachment 5842349
Best battery in recent Samsung flagships. Power saver turned on just 10 mins back for night routine.
