Google Pixel 6a
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra
I read somewhere that the corporate offer is applicable upto 3 purchases or so per year.
3 units per offer per month for EPP. For corporare+, it's 5 units per person per month. That's how it used to be.

Last weekend I bought screen guard(1 box unit having 2 SGs) and a case. It makes it 2. When put in cart, it shows as 2 products. Not sure if it's considered as 3 by their "system". Or there's something else to the story..

Please recommend a case for the Ultra.
Don't want a bulky one.
Is this any good https://tinyurl.com/mr2cmcb7

Thanks
That looks decent. I've ordered the official leather case for the s23 ultra. Usually, I prefer samsung official cases or the Spigen ones. Others I've tried are Ringke, ESR, slimcase in recent years. This time Spigen has some cool new designs and I'm hoping they'll be available soon in India.

S23 Ultra bettery life is a significant improvement over S22 and is very close to iPhone 14 Pro Max. (Screenshot from GSMarena.com)

As such,
the vanilla S23 would considerably be a good choice amongst the rest for those looking for a compact flagship. It's been quite a few years now that a compact yet having good battery endurance existed.

As for the S23U vs 14ProM, it's probably safe to say that the latter will still lead somewhat in the real world scenario as people do not spend as much time on calls as much as they spend on browsing internet content using apps and also in video playbacks.

Yeah. Scale the resolution or refresh rate along with the new light processing, at least we have different options to prioritize battery life for screen time.

But gotta admit, A16 is an incredible SoC which is getting incredible battery life with a smaller battery. It is magic indeed.

As heartening it is, the first month with a S flagship is always awesome. It's the second or third fw where suddenly the SOT drops. Been used to it ever since the 1st.
Pro Max is always on a different level. If Samsung can optimise to remain close to 80% of pro max awesomeness that itself will be a feat and a blessing for us.

Open source can never be a close one so the former's drawbacks will continue somewhat even if mitigated to the fullest.

Guys, the armor Aluminum for example in the Cream S23U is matte finish right ? I feel like the Stainless Steel on the Iphone 14 Pro looks way more premium and appealing. is it just me or whats your opinion on that ?

After months of usage, let's all agree to the fact that Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy is a fantastic, gem of a chipset. 🫡

Samsung should work on the cameras with updates, I have no other complaints with the 23U.

Welcome back. Any idea why the iPhone resale has dropped? I heard more people than ever are buying them in India...?
People in India are obsessed by iPhones because of the "Luxury" it offers and so there are lots of UAE phones here which either came through smuggling or from asking a friend to bring. It costs 1.14 for 14 Pro Max 256gb and that is from Apple Store. But prices in Amazon and other shops are even less because there same phones are available even from USA at 94k. All these phones have flooded the market and all of them have international warranty that people keep buying them up. As a customer I will only think about warranty and not the area from where the phone came from and so people take loans and whatever to buy these contraband. When they can't repay or don't like the phone, they sell it off flooding the second hand market. Right now these are the prices of new phones in my city
    iPhone 14 Pro 256gb 1.08
    iPhone 14 Pro Max 256gb 1.15
Used phone buying prices (3 months old, imported devices)
    iPhone 14 Pro 256gb 80k to 85k
    iPhone 14 Pro Max 256gb 95k to 99k
Used phone buying prices (3 months old, Indian devices)
    iPhone 14 Pro 256gb 85k to 95k
    iPhone 14 Pro Max 256gb 100k to 105k
They'll add 5k to 10k margin and sell these off!
This is only applicable for the 14 Pro lineup and I know for a fact when 15 Pro launches, situation will be even worse!

what is the benefit of esim, any network-related improvement?
Mutiple eSIM networks can be saved in the same eSIM space, one cannot use the eSIM if phone is lost+ good for network providers/concerned authorities for tracking, SIM swapping is most likely a tiny bit harder for scammers as compared the physical ones, precious space is saved by phone makers etc.. - if we think about benefits.!

Network related improvement? Not that I'm aware of.

Yeah.. That is why i'm waiting for the Tab S9 series to launch instead of going for the Tab S8 series. The difference between s22 ultra and s23 ultra is day and night and the only main difference is the chipset.

Best battery in recent Samsung flagships. Power saver turned on just 10 mins back for night routine.
Totally satisfied with battery performance this year.

Quick impressions on the phone -

Samsung is using the same Ultrasonic Fingerprint Sensor from S21 and S22, that is the only bummer, everything else is a good upgrade. The screen looks more clear from up close compared to S22 Ultra. And 50 MP shots are fantastic. The bump in resolution is quite apparent. It takes a few seconds to save 50 MP files though. I just played with the phone for some time at a local retailer in Bangalore. They let me install the device info HW app (quick shared the apk from my phone) through which i checked the Fingerprint sensor. It is essentially the same one (QBT2608)
