Is this charger of yours three-pin? I hear that solves it...something to do with earthing.

I had that problem too... go to hardware testing and calibrate the touch sensor.. It will solve the problem..

initially it was possible to go to recovery and fastboot now i'm not being able to do that :crying:

AProblem with cores!

I use CPU z for core performance,

Earlier only core 0 works and other remain stopped while no working and everything closed.
But now a days, core 3 is up all the time together with core 0.

Phone is rooted
No social messaging app at all
Even I removed Facebook,
No Whatsapp nothing.

Disable all autostart app via security man.
As well as Autostarts app (with a red car icon)
Also closed everything running and cached.

Please let me know, because it costing me on battery.

ota updates depend on what rom are you running..
If you are running the developer miui v6 rom then the latest update is 5.1.9 that was made public on 9th Jan.

Go to settings and then to about phone.. most probably you are running stable version... there are no updates currently

Since now miui 6 is available as ota can you please update steps to easy root the same?? (root and unroot files)

Also please suggest the method to update cwm / twrp for Indian version.

Need urgent help!!!

I bought a second hand Xiaomi Mi3w. It's MIUI V5 (JXCCNAl12.0) it also says MIUI-KXDCNBE18.0
Since this MIUI version is old and also running Android 4.3 I want to upgrade it. I tried upgrading to MIUI V6 and V7 via downloading the roms from miui official website, used updater method but it failed. Then I tried to root to several times but it's not getting rooted. Root permissions are unable to be enabled. I tried many recoveries i.e. stock signed recovery, v18 (india) recovery and cancro recoveries to flash it with but failed. Also when I go into recovery it says "No command" with Android robo broken sign. I am badly stuck in this, Also I can't install many apps because of the 2 partitions. I want to make it one, and for that root is required. Please help me get out of this situation. Will be much appreciated.

Is fastboot working? If its is, download the latest twrp image and use command "fastboot flash recovery twrp.img and enter. If you want to still be on MIUI then just download the lates SuperSU zip and flash it in twrp. Or go for a custom ROM. Hope this helps.

Brother i have rooted my phone according to your thread and I have also intalled Xposed successfully. My question is I will get My phone warranty in service center or not?
