Indicator Light on the Speaker

Hi Guys

Does anyone know what the indicator light that is inside the recessed area for the front speaker for? I have never seen it light up, and have no idea what it's supposed to be used for.

The display's backlight auto-adjusts (can be disabled tough) with the help of this light sensor

HAHA. I can't tell you how many times I looked at my phone trying to think of where the light sensor is. I heard that light described as an actually light, that blinks for certain occasions.

but...you are talking about the light sensor. the notification light is around the dpad
