The battery life seems really pitiful and with that 33w lackluster charging I do not feel it's that great a device these paid reviewers are making it to be. 5.5 hours SOT is not something to boast about.

It would've been perfect if ASUS would've chosen the Snapdragon 870, which makes sense considering the mediocre cameras that don't even need the DSP of the 888 and almost equal performance to it and much better throttling/thermals and battery efficiency.

So sad.
I cannot complain about battery life. At least one day with phone and internet plus YouTube is OK for me. Loading of the battery is as fast as for OnePlus 7 which I have had before (35W charger in around 1 hour). You have to be realistic, I am using it in automatic mode/refresh rate adapted. Nice form factor, it fits into every pocket and can be operated with one hand which you cannot with the standard 6.+ inch displays.

Hi, can an owner give me some info on the cameras - I need to know if both cameras can shoot raw/dng and the max exposure times and max iso for both?
Consider buying it, after my mistake buying xperia 5 ii, which has focus issues and really bad camera sensors...
Hi, I can confirm that both cameras can shoot RAW/JPG format in manual mode. Max exposure time is 16sec, ISO max is 3200. The camera is not too bad if you relate it to the form factor. But I have not done a longer test, preferring my mirrorless camera.

Interesting phone, i wanted to get it, but asus decided to remove sd slot, and to put usb 2.0 type-c port. There is nothing flagship about that 😔
I know that doesnt matter to most users, but cmon, its 2021... Usb 2.0 on a sd888 16gb ram ufs 3.1 phone???
You should not complain about a phone which costs almost 400€ below the top range. The interesting thing is the form factor which enables real one-hand operations, very good loudspeakers plus audio plug which most actual devices are lacking and a very good screen. I have not realised throttling, although the back can become hot. Which phone has SD slot plus 256 GB today? Who is really using the USB port when it includes fast Wifi? May be for backups…

Thanks, but already bought it and returned it because of heating/battery issues. Not a bad phone but with lots of problems, mainly because of the soc...

Why does in not support mmWave 5g? It is supposed to have the Qualcomm x60 modem which is capable of this.... will it be enabled in sw updates? Thoughts?

What about the call quality? Was this fixed by sw updates?

谢谢,它发现了zenfone 8,有点冒险,但看来没办法。
When my friend used the official unlocking tool provided by ZS690KS, there was an error code in the application. Do you know why?
