Great work to autoprime and those who contributed to this thread. Glad I bypassed the G5 from the G4, with the H860 dual SIM still nowhere near being rooted a year later after release. The v20's dual SIM isn't there yet either...but hopefully it's not far off.

I used twrp recovery, flashed with the steps i wrote before. I flashed the firmware zipped using twrp. I had troubles with twrp 3.0.2. Than i used twrp 3.0.2-1 that worked very good.

I used TWRP to flash the N 7.0 stock LG zip but now Root Checker says "Sorry! Root access is not properly installed on this device. When I tried rebooting back into TWRP it factor reset my phone so I had to re-install everything. When I boot up the phone I get a warning "Your device software can not be checked for corruption, Lock the boot loader. " so it is not completely locked but all the apps say that it is locked?

After a flash of a new firmware you must flash again supersu. Please read some answers back. The new advisory unlocked bootloader screen on nougat is very invasive than before, but that is.

{LG F700S/K/L} Work in Progress

While looking through the guide, I found out that support for the korean variants are quite obsolete.
No DLL, KDZ, MSI, etc etc

I may have just found a workaround
(great now i jynxed it)

Will update accordingly

So, I'm trying to update my coworkers phone, and I cannot get LGUP to recognize his model. It's the US Cellular LG G5. It always errors out. I checked the DLL installed, and it's for H860 or something, I assume I'd need a US992 DLL, but I cannot find a place to download it online. I've searched every way I can think of. Any pointers on if LGUP can work for US Cellular?

Here's the error: LGUP can't load the model[C:program Files\LG Electronics\LGUP\com

I have the F700S, and have used Honestly Annoying's root method, modified the build.prop so that LGUP now thinks it is a H850, flashed an H850 firmware and now it is unstable and unusable, and I can't flash back :)

What problems are you having with the F700 series ? I found that LGUP works normally with UPPERCUT, and the KDZ files are readily available on http://lg-firmwares.com/lg-f700s-firmwares/

I'm totally confused. I'm on 10D on a rooted T-Mobile LG G5. Can someone please tell me what I can upgrade to. I really would like nougat but there are too many conflicting threads here. Just any information would be greatly appreciated.

About problem with the load the model

I could'nt go back to stock version of my h850TR. When i try to open lgup without uppercut. It says "LGUP can't load the model "C:/program files.... LGUP/model/common" I got LGUP_H850.dll in the model folder.
When i try to use uppercut, i can't use refurbished option.(my version is not suitable for refurbished) Also upgrade option stucks on %11 "0x2bc invalid command" Can you guys help me with that?
