I understand you and aggree with you. As i said i m in XEF/XEF/XEF. I have the oreo ota notification. My oem option will back on sunday at 7 a.m but i m ready to try the oreo update this week end to see if the oem option will magically back. So...if there is a way to extract the update zip from my phone , i can upload it here for those who want to flash it with odin. This should allow to get oreo without waiting for samfire or sammobile. The oreo update is 1.4Gb.
If interested, let me know;)
It can't work the way you think.
you can get zip only if your device is rooted and also this zip can work only on matching base. Now if any one have matching base then they directly receive FOTA right?
Another thin you can do is first update to oreo, root your device and then dump all partitions and make a TWRP flashable Oreo ROM. but this is not a cup of tea more everyone. Also if Oreo required Bootloader from oreo base then again it becomes risky to use dumped bootloader. If anything real RISKY in terms of flashing then it is only Bootloader. Even after countless flashing in my life, I always try to avoid flashing BL as much possible.

Guys, have you heard about TWRP problem after that XEFota thing? From my friend's raport with Oreo onboard: latest available TWRP is unusable. Maybe it's oftop, but would like to help him, maybe you could have any advice.

Hi guys.
I am in Xef and I carried out the Oreo update.
Does this update seem to me on my side solved my missing OEM problem since it was available after the first reboot after the flash of the ROM.
It is visible immediately during my multiple reboots

I think it fix your problem. Your problem is even after 7 days the toggle isn't there right? Like it's stuck right? The update prob fix that

Yes quite my oem do not appear before 07 days with each flash or OTA update. After the flash Oreo it was visible immediately. I think Oreo is patching up this problem. To be confirmed by other users.

That s what i thought. I understand well the situation. So...let s wait the flashable zip from sammobile or samfire. In the other hand, there is no oreo custom rom for the moment...the better is to wait;)

How did you change xxx/xxx/XEF to xxx/xxx/VVI?
You can find the answer in a precedent post of mine here : https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...nos-n950f-fd-oem-unlock-t3673140/post75352501
I hope it will help you;)

You absolutely sure the 3rd csc changed? Cause that won't change by changing csc. It can't be changed like how you described which is why I asked.
Yes i m sure. When i ve flashed the alexega rom, after setting up the phone i ve checked in the about phone and the csc was VVI/VVI/VVI. All the 3 have changed. And all the followed steps i ve described are what i did. now my csc is back to XEF/XEF/XEF. Althought my csc is likevthe very first time, volte setting disappeared like the oem option too. I had this option in the stock rom but after all this story, i can t find this option...maybe my csc is shown as XEF/XEF/XEF and in reality it isn t and in this case i don t know what appened. One thing is sure all the steps are sure and in about phone, it is shown like at origin. And i m sure the 3rd csc has changed.

thats the most idiot security that i have ever seen...
there is a way to pass the all waiting one week procces ?
No you cannot force it to appear quicker, but there is a fix to prevent it from disappearing again once it shows up. If you don't have the toggle then you must wait the 7 days first.

Finally out of jail exactly 7 days, 168 hours it automatically appears, them OEM option. Now I have rooted my phone and installed Dr ketan's Rom and patched it. Its working perfectly now.. Just that when I restart my phone there is a red sentence on top saying kernel is not seandroid enforcing or something..

Lol yeah no worries about that one totally normal when your device is modded. Sammy devices have been showing that message for years.

Yup doesn't mean anything except what it says, that the kernel installed is not enforcing like a stock kernel is. Won't cause anything except being annoying and how a non enforcing kernel behaves.

I think there's a way to patch the kernel or something to not give the message though. I'm on a permissive kernel now & don't get that message. I did get it sometimes on my Note 5 depending on which I kernel I used.
