Emailed HTC just to get a response about the signed boot loader and this is all they had to say.

"Thank you for your interest in the HTC Sensation. While we share your enthusiasm for customizing the device we are unable to support or advise regarding any method to root a device or customize the bootloader. If you do wish to change the bootloader to flash to a custom ROM my best suggestion is to see what the enthusiast community reports shortly after the device is released. Do please be advised however that this kind of customization (rooting, custom rom, flashing the bootloader) would void your warranty on the device so there is a level of risk involved."

Kind of a bummer eh?

duhh none of the phone makers will help you rooting your phone.

Sony-Ericson is the example here.

I don't remember anyone saying the HTC sensation was signed they just said the bootloader was locked in a different way. That's all.

Sent from my HTC Glacier using XDA Premium App

And if we lucky like at the DHD we grab an ENG bootloader ;-) The Desire root and s-off was very difficult ;-)

and i think root will work with the Gingerbread exploit ;-)

I wait for this phone .... i want it now!

Why is HTC doing reverse mistakes?
I mean SE did a big mistake in locking the bootloader of the X10, they losed, they learned, and now all the new devices are unlockable because they understood they can't win in Android universe without root possibilities.
HTC is doing the same mistake while they were the king of Android thanks to root, IS and DS are doomed now and the SGS2 will be rootable, how many $ they should lose to understand locking devices is a catastrophy?
I don't want to see a beautiful piece of art like Sensation doomed too
