My mytouch scored higher out of the box. Unlike the Samsung galaxy 2 there is no retail unit yet I doubt my single core phone phone can compete with HTC dualcore. That has to be an unfinished build on it cause it doesn't add up. Ill wait for benchmarks when we have a final products in may

Are you blind ?
That is where your "Mytouch" (lmao what a name) with final Hardware is :

(10th line)

You must confound with another test dude, your phone is scoring 16.3fps at this test

And for the "final product" part those scores were given by qualcomm himself with final drivers on a unit made just for tests (a big brick with a touchscreen) but with all things optimized, you must confound another time with the HTC Sensation that is still not final. But those tests were on their "Scorpion chip" clocked at 1.5Ghz and given by Qualcomm to show the power to expect from their GPU at max, and they are not even on par with the Galaxy S II that is clocked only at 1.2Ghz...
that says it all

Eh um wasn't the op talking about smartbench productivity. I don't trust anything not in the hands of the average consumer or xda. Yes the crappy espresso scored higher out of the box on quadrant and smart bench. I don't know why everyone is sucking Samsung so hard. It not like android has one hardware acceleration yet and two actually good games that put the gpu to work. By the to
time we do HTC, LG,Nvidia, and Samsung will have a new phone with a quadcore processor.

uh "espresso" is a phone I guess ?
but I disagree there is plenty of games that uses such power and there is even games that are too heavy for latest dual core phone you know.
Anyway I agree that when android will get hardware acceleration on the interface it will be even more awesome for every android phone user ;)

Espresso is the HTC sense version of the mytouch a lighter version of sense. I've been looking for games in the android market that my phone can't run but it runs everyone smoothly. Its like regardless we have so much power in are hands. But no able to use it.

Thanks for the explanation on espresso
Actually there is alot of those, to quote some of them :
- N64oid
- PSX emulator
- many other emulators
- Gangstar miami vindication
- Splinter cell conviction
- real football 2011
- Dungeon defenders
- galaxy on fire 2
- Modern combat black pegasus
- other that I can't remember

And this is just today, just imagine tomorow as games are getting heavier
That is comparble to desktops when they get dual core processors, that's just the normal cycle of technology
