[INFO] Sensation qhd vs galaxy s 2 super led plus screens

My Sensation arrived today, I got it in the hope that the qHD screen would be clearer and better for web browsing than the SGS2.

One of the first things I did was a side by side comparison of both devices.

Sensation has considerably clearer screen, SGS2 has brighter colours.

I've seen many articles stating that the increase in sub pixels in the SGS2 make it appear higher resolution. Well, qHD beats it hands down on picture quality and clarity. I can see the pixels on the SGS2 where the picture looks smooth on the Sensation.

On the other hand, I would say the UX on the SGS2 is slightly better, it feels a little smoother/faster than the Sensation.

This is a tough one to call. I love the screen on the sensation. qHD is a bigger improvement than i expected. Saying that, I have upgraded from an HTC Legend which, although the resolution is low, produces glorious colours with its amoled (rgb matrix). One downside to amoled on the legend was that, at low brightness setting, the colours got tinted brown. Hopefully the latest amoled screens overcome this. I don't think anyone can say either screens is the better. I would love to get the best of both, but for now I am very happy.

What do you expect, dude if you're so much into SGII why don't you go over there and ask your questions? I mean really you're just another troll rolling in HTC thread. Who gives a crap what you buy.

I'm not so much into the GSII or sensation. Just slightly annoying when pointless posts come up in the discussion. Both the GSII and Sensation will come out at the same/similar time (on T-mobile UK - which has delayed releases) so I've got a free upgrade to which ever I choose. Not backing anyone in particular atm - hence i'm just trying to participate in the discussions so I can choose the right phone for me, when I eventually get one of them.
