Hi
I needed an urgent help.! Does the performance of a dual sim phone, when used only with a single sim matches the performance of a single sim model?
This is in relation to buying a i9190 vs i9192.
I am not a dual sim user but am unable to get a i9190 online.
Please help..!
Thanks
Have you checked this review? It seems like the Dous version is tweaked.

For me choosing the Samsung S4 Mini Duos was a non-brainer. Yes, its not the best option in terms of performance of a Dual SIM phone and the switch btw SIM 1 and 2 for data is horrible omission from Samsung. I guess we sont see any hope for update on this as is is mid-2013 device, now 1 year old and still running 4.2 Jelly Bean and no word on update to 4.3 or 4.4. I don't care about flashing this or Know warranty, but its just most likely stock version will not work with this Dual SIM give how its screwed up everything with the speed limits in 2nd SIM.
Can somebody confirm who did upgrade this phone successfully to 4.3 or to 4.4 KitKat?
Anyways the reason i picked this phone was 1. The built quality (nice hardware), 2. forward looking specs and 3. (This is major) was the weight of this phone - its mere 108 or 109 grams which is featherlight compared to any other Dual SIM phone on the market including the bulky cheap counterparts from subcontract manufacturers in China.
Here is a listing and review. I cant speak for the review, but it is a good list. Its in German unfortunately.

As i said, cant speak for the review or whether its biased or not. I just looked at the specs of the phones and Galaxy mini stands out on weight, although overall is listed as being in the middle.

PS2: If you're an android simple user in my opinion Samsung Android TouchWizz is the most complicated rom you could ever find.
PS3: I used to hate Samsung for there volounteer to become the Android Apple equivalent but though I give it a try, this is the first and last try. They made complicated software Android does not look like Android and everything is complicated and the bloatwares are everywhere.

I am avid Apple user but for my family i always setup on Linux in the past and now also on ChromeOs and Android, just because its cheaper
Being accustomed to Keep-it-simple-stupid simplicity of an Apple phone, I do appreciate the sheer number of customization options including ability to have DUAL Sim, but most of the settings are convoluted in confusing illogical layout on the Samsung phone and I ended up reading online user manuals. I agree there is a lot of S-bloatware and its annoying there is no way to turn off some stuff unless I root the phone. Hardware-wise, Samsung is really only hardware manufacturer that comes close to Apple quality on phones. Given how Samsung wants to push Tizen, its unlikely they will loosen grip on your phone, in contrary they want to become more like Apple so they can make more money out of you:laugh:
Thanks for putting this review together.. Without this i was lost as there is absolutely no documentation on how this feature works anywhere online and Samsung help online just repeats the same thing I can read on the phone's display.
