Honestly, I do not recommend any s4 mini.

Usage time: seven days
estimated lifespan for battery: less than a year.
Model: 9192 Duos

mainly because there is no definitive solution to the battery problem, heating, etc.

all the bad reports happen in Stock or custom rom.
And they happen randomly. Makes the solution difficult.
I think in trying to return the model. Probably will not get lucky.

Wrong in purchasing. could be a good smart but unfortunately buggy
Samsung does not recall. Never.
After years using Samsung, think it's time to change.
Should have bought a MOTO X.

After many tests I finally got:

My battery graph finally shows horizontal lines and no more that constant downward curve even in deep sleep.

I'm still with him totally stock.

Drain into deep sleep only ended after disabling SIM 2 in setup.

I'll probably have to change sim 2 (which was cut).

Note the horizontal line when Deepsleep.

i was just wondering can i use 3g (or data generally)on sim 2 slot when there is no sim 1 ?? ... as the sim 2 place may get a better signal since its not between the screen and the battery as in sim 1 slot ... ??...because i tried using only sim 2 slot but when i switch data on nothing happens ... also i put sim 2 for data in sim manger

there is a thing called antenna

The signal does not work that way, is the antenna where the signal came in to the phone not the sim.

I can use 3g full speed in second slot.

I'm looking for a dual Sim phone but it need to be dual 3G...
My 2 carriers are 3g only, no 2g support at all...

So my question is: can 3g be activated on both Sims at the same time?

Unfortunately, no . Only 1 SIM can be 3G at a time

Help i9192 Model TTT H+ not working for me. and tmo wifi calling app?custom roms yet?

I have a few question hope someone can help. Background - rooted stock 4.4.2 with cwm recovery.
1. I have a i9192 that is a Trinidad model TTT is there something I can flash to get it working on H+ 42.2mbps right now it is only getting H or 14.4 mbps was using Sim from slot 1 in my I527 Mega and it got 4G LTE, 4G, 3G and Edge ! Running data only on from at&t with StraightTalk Tablet Sim 1 ( same setting as on the mega) and prepaid t-mobile on Sim 2 for calls and text.
2. Any way to get a working t-mobile wifi calling app or apk for 4.4.2 ?
3. Any custom 4.4.2 or higher roms yet? Thanks

Will be an s4 mini owner

I recently upgraded from a note2 to a note4, but I now have 2 lines, and 2 note phones are bulcky to carrying arround. So i want a small phone to carry around with my note4 to replace the note 2.

Since I already have all the functionality and storage i need on my note4, so the size and weight of the second phone is key! obviously call time is also important since i will only be useing if for calls and some sms, but with one sim only.

The second sim slot would be a perfect solution for times where i dont wanna carry 2 phones around, and keep my note4 at home, so i will only use it temporarily, which makes the s4 mini the perfect candidate for my case.

I know s5 mini is out, but more expensive, and has a lot of features i dont need on a second phone, and will suck up more battery life.

Dear all, i am interested in buying a mobile phone which has the possibility kf doing the following setup:

Be able to use 2 sim cards (HSDPA 900MHZ-2100MHZ). One sim card will be used only for voice calls and sms. The other sim card will be used only for data (internet). If possible i would like that the data sim card is always on in order to receive facebook notifications, email etc. However if a call on the second sim card is received, i will be able to get the call.

Help is greatly appreciated.

I am facing an issue where I don't receive sms on second sim if the data is active on sim1.
Basically, I have sim1 & sim2. For data I use sim1. But, I stop receiving sms of sim2 when data is active on sim2. Any particular reason?
