Hi !
To be clear for all the people !!!
As long as you keep locked bootloader - you can not install any custom recovery ( like CWM or TWRP ) !!!
Without custom recovery - your device is not able to run any custom rom !!!
WHY ?
To recap :
A little help for those who remain stuck in boot ( bootloop ) after installing a custom rom :
By installing an officialy firmware 4.1 , bootloader will be updated to JB bootloader !
...also you can try, my Custom Roms for Asus TF300T : 1° BlueAndroid & 2° [email protected]
( Roms based on Stock Asus Firmware : fast , stable & and high performance ! )

To be clear for all the people !!!
As long as you keep locked bootloader - you can not install any custom recovery ( like CWM or TWRP ) !!!
Without custom recovery - your device is not able to run any custom rom !!!
WHY ?
- with locked bootloader you can install only the officialy firmware ! ( or some custom updates, proper signed and does not include rewriting the boot or recovery partition )
- when installing an official update will overwrite among others, the boot & recovery partition and system android - all this are in the blob files - ( you can see blob file ~ 820MB if you unpack twice officialy archive )
- with unlocked bootloader you can rewrite boot & recovery partition & also system partition ;
- practice by unlocking bootloader - first, we allowed to rewrite recovery partitions - so necessary to install a custom recovery and than an custom rom !
- by installing an custom recovery - we must only to rewrite the boot partition & system partition - what it includes an custom rom !
To recap :
- officialy firmware = blob file , which included : recovery , boot & system partition + ..... ;
- custom rom = custom_rom.zip , which included : boot partition & system partition ;
- custom recovery = CWM or TWRP , which included only recovery partition ;
- recovery partition = twrp.blob or cwm.blob
- boot partition = boot.blob ( ... also kernel.blob or or any other file that includes the boot partition .blob )
- system partition = /system
A little help for those who remain stuck in boot ( bootloop ) after installing a custom rom :
- by installing an custom rom - sure you have already installed an custom recovery !
- available only to those who can access custom recovery ( after this step you will install officialy firmware ) : download and unpack officialy firmware archive -> you will get a new zip archive ! now copy this new archive in your device or microSD and flash it in recovery by wiping cache, dalvik-cache & factory-reset !
- available if you can access fastboot mode ( after this step you will install officialy firmware ) : download and unpack twice officialy firmware archive and extract blob file ! , now copy blob file and navigate to ../sdk/android-sdk/platform-tools/ , open a cmd command and type:
- > fastboot -i 0x0B05 flash staging blob
By installing an officialy firmware 4.1 , bootloader will be updated to JB bootloader !
