They just called me to upgrade, said they had 72 left in stock. Ordered one for delivery tomorrow.

Will they let you buy one off contract? And if so, have the price?

Would love to get one and import it to the US if the vodaphone website is correct and it has the AT&T frequencies. But I dunno where I can import the UK model yet.

I doubt it, plus it has some "minimal" Vodafone customisations, which you probably don't want!

I wandered into a Vodafone store in Bristol today and upgraded. They didn't seem to be low on stock. They were completely out of GSIIs though.

Made the decision easier. I didn't really fancy a plasticky feather weight phone anyway.

Voda stock levels differ considerably, online, shop and upgrades all get separate stock allocations. I'm not sure if personal/business also get separate stock allocations or not though.

The SGS2 isn't that bad, it's far better than the SGS (previous phone for me to Sensation), although the Sensation feels nicer in the hand.
