Definitely. Always the first thing to go and the hardest to diagnose. It sounds like the flux capacitor has gone on it.

Leaked bootloader would help.

LMAO, your SamSux thread is worst.. oh by the way this is HTC thread buddy why are you trolling over here?I can see why HTC forums always have dedicated mods. The **** slinging from HTC fanboys are always so blatant. They don't even try to be subtle. Too bad the mod doesn't really care anyway. Clap your hands everybody its yet another ground-level mudfest.
As I understand it the back cover also houses the antennas so don't count on being able to buy another one cheaply.Mine has come, the phone is all good so far...loving that at standard DPI I can fit as much on the screen (at least vertically) as I could my Desire Z set to 191.
The unibody is awesome, though there is a tiny nick on the inside next to the edge, which can annoyingly be seen when the phone is attached to the case...it looks as though something has got stuck between the screen and case.
Don't know whether to just dab it with a permanent marker, return it, or just buy another battery cover later on...!
Store wouldn't do anything asits an online order, got an exchange set up with the online team but its out of stock so a week at least without it.take it back mate, don't want to try and fix it when it should be working straight away. Go to a store tomorrow!
I rung to do the same as I have dust under the screen, but I am not willing to wait, so have decided to stick with Orange. My contract is due to end and I can upgrade.Store wouldn't do anything asits an online order, got an exchange set up with the online team but its out of stock so a week at least without it.
Oh well back to the iPhone for a week

Yeah I checked on eBay, around 45GBP shipped from Hong Kong. I'll probably stick with it because its so small and can only be seen in the right light. Plus I don't wanna wait a week for stock! As I understand it the back cover also houses the antennas so don't count on being able to buy another one cheaply.
Wow, that was an amusing read.......SGSII does have some game compatibility issues, re the texture compression. But a software fix is on the way. Besides, it's a "lazy dev" thing, not a technical hardware thing. Also when u look at the content, compatibility, support, issues HTC Sensation is way way way ahead of any samsung phone. Samsung Phones pretty much have hardware issues and about the content good luck finding any good game working on you Galaxy S II. Its gonna remain the same until game devs find it killing their sales which it certainly isnt gonna do seeing the fact the 3-4 million devices wont make any difference when there are more than 100 million more devices that are supported ( PowerVR, Adreno and Tegra Devices) Thats the main reason i am not buying Samsung Galaxy S II as the content isnt there and samsung can't do anything to support it as the GPU doesn't support compression textures. All the OpenGL1.1 games wont really be working that good as the texture compression for GL1.1 it supports doesnt support transparency so no game dev is gonna go all over their game adding hacks to support transparency and most games today are 1.1 and 2.0 games are rare in android market. Moreover Samsung is not paying anyone to promote their GPU. They need to understand it isnt a PowerVR, adreno or Tegra GPU which already has the GPU companies backing behind. They chose a gpu that might be the fastest but is generic, supports minimum stuff and has no company backing it. And i wont be buying a dual core phone until i wanna game as all the apps work flawless on my Nexus One. Dual Core phones are only for the ones who want to game not for the business class who just want to do work on their phone
Chainfire one of the best and most respected devs on this site is working on it. if anyone can do it with out bugs its him.Its really not a lazy dev thing, Its just that when ur developing a game you want it to its full potential and generic texture compression formats dont allow it without hacks/workarounds and using them puts in more codes and bugs and the end result is a size hungry buggy game so these gpu manufacturers provide there own proprietery half open sourced drivers so that their GPU has good games and these probably work across all gpus with little modifications and it isnt hacky. The current thing people on sgsII forum are working on is getting an overlay in between which is for sure gonna be buggy as hell and they'll try getting all those proprietery texture compression formats loaded in the overlay that would be more like asking for C&D + Bugs. Devs will eventually get to it but not anytime soon. Haven't heard from any top devs who are trying to do that
