please explain how to use this?
dear users,
I own a mz615 xoom 2 10.1 tablet and recently got shafted by moto, wich claims my device is running nonsupported modified firmware wich means they dont send ics to me and loses my waranty. i bought the tab brand new and cutted the seals myself, it came with this firmware out of the box so i find moto's explanation quite upsetting and really doesnt understand how and why this would happen.
this is my info about tablet(hopefully everything needed):
Systemversion: 0.268.4.MZ615.NonEFGISRetail.en.EU
Modelnumber: Xoom2
Androidversion: 3.2.2
Firmwareconfigurationversion: GAS_EMEA_USATBLT1WIRTBETR_P005
Kernel:
[email protected] #1
Buildnumber: 1.6.0_268.4-mz615
My questions to all/any off you is and please correct me if i'm wrong,
These fastboot versions wich are uploaded, are these firmwareversions for our xoom 2 tabs?
Can i use this to flash an officially supported rom so i can eventually flash an ics ota update?
If yes is there any tutorial on how to use this, or could any of you please explain thoroughly how to do this?
understand this isn't without risc, just dont want to make any stupid noob-mistake and end up bricking my brand new tab..
hope you will help?
many thanks,
Jeffrey
