I use titanium backup to freeze the apps rather than completely remove. Here is a list of what I have frozen so far:

Allshare
At&t code scanner
At&t family map
At&t hot spots
At&t navigator
Drm content 2.2.1
Live TV
Media hub
Mini diary
News and weather
Tethering manager
Write and go
Ypmobile

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using XDA Premium App

Guys, I was reading around the net and heard that if you remove the bloatware as opposed to freezing it, you would lose the ability to revcieve OTA. Is that true. I have already unistalled the bloatware unfortunately. Hopefully thats not the case.

who wants to stay on a stock rom anyways? just install one of our fine versions of optimized froyo and/or soon to be gingerbread roms, and be done with it!

re: Bloatware

WOW, nice job! I assume you have tested these on an Infuse? I ask because I notice some of the apps are marked "Moto(rola)."

Thanks!
That's why I wrote that if you find any app on the list which
you do not have, just skip it ;)
and yes, I have tested it.

Have a great day,
Enjoy!

Please don't forget to give me a big THANKS if this was helpful to you!

This is probably a stupid question, but I just got an infuse and can't figure out how to access the partition where these files are. I downloaded the drivers (samsung kies) and it putting the phone in usb mode only exposes the data partition.

Kind of getting tired of people bumping these old ass threads...
why? I guess no comment is really needed but its better than people not reading the old ass threads burying information deeper in the forum creating new topics with questions that have already been answered 20 times.

I find it bothersome because half the time they get bumped and then they turn into a 20 page topic. Like that stupid, "Will we ever see GB?" topic. That's been bumped so many times, and the arguments and whatnot continue for weeks. I don't know. Maybe I shouldn't have said anything, and if I'm in the wrong, I do apologize.

didn't say you were in the wrong, just asked why. but aren't we both bumping this thread? anyway I'm out unless someone has questions relevant to the op.
