The Icarus v2
Aside from this battery and cover completely destroying the sleekness of the Incredible... Is anyone ordering it?

I'm thinking about it, but then again I don't care for the brick look n' feel on a phone.

Nope

Looks horrid.

I own every OTHER battery made for the Incredible (nice strategy ... keep releasing larger and larger). The 1750mah did not do much for me, but the 2150mah is wonderful (especially if you follow the PROPER charging method of: [1] charge with power on, [2] when orange goes to green choose power off, [3] wait for orange to go green again).

I actually used this charge method on my 1500 ma battery, and it lasts much longer. Moderate usage and I am still at 70% at 5pm in the day. Unplugged it about 7am.

Quick question. What if you just turned it off to charge it to begin with? Not taking into account if someone uses it as an alarm clock or anything. Just say I turned it off right before I went to sleep.

You are free to mess around as you see fit; but the steps are as outlined. Charge with the power on; wait till green; choose power off; wait till green; unplug and enjoy much longer battery life.

Let's try this again. 3500 Innocell

Got 2 of the 3500's and turned back in the 2150 to Verizon. Got the Charger that allows the phone and the spare 3500 to be charged simultaneously. 1st Battery was put in after the light just turned green from charging. This lasted about 36 hours before the message about needing to be put on the charger came back on. By this time the 2nd battery had been charging for about 15+ hours. Plopped it in and as of right now. The battery usage is reporting 48:21:51 Up time Awake time is 8:03:49 and there is 4 segments left of the 10 showing for the remaining battery. This is the kind of performance I am expecting from a battery. I will later perform a hard test on the battery. I will do an all movie time running of the battery to see how long it can last when the screen is on the full time running Movies.:)

3500 Mah performance Awesome!

Completed the testing of the 3500 Mah down to 4% of remaining power Watched 4 full length movies each over 2 hours. People who take long flights Get ready for fun. Phone at 4% remaining = 1 bar of 10 on battery screen.
Uptime 26 hours 45 min.
Awake time 13 hours 18 min Based on this a single battery would allow only 1 battery to be used for an international flight from Chicago to Hong Kong and still have plenty of battery left to get to a charger. The bad part is this Verizon phone will not work in HK or China. Different frequency from what I have been reading.

Cell Standby 23%
Android System 21%
Display 17%
Phone Idle 12%
Bluetooth 11%
Wi-Fi 10%
Mediaserver 4%
Voice Calls 2%

Rating "Best Battery for the HTC Incredible Power User" A+
