How to install Android 10 on Z5 PRO GT
*edit*
If any of you uploade the android 10 zip elsewhere send me the links and after validating the link ill put it up here
Downloads
ADB+FASTBOOT
Android 10 Zip
TWRP

For starters don't try to just install zip via stock recovery it will just error out (THEY KNOW THAT YOU'RE BEING A NAUGHTY BOI AND INSTALLING IT WITHOUT BEING A BETA TESTER)

Before you start be on latest stock firmware

For starters install adb+fastboot drivers

After that go to your phone enable developer options by slammin that build number
Then go to developer options and enable usb debugging and oem unlock

Go to about and write down you IMEI 1 and serial number

Then go to Magical Link Yes

Yes yes its in Chinese i think
Here's a handy little translation for you

And apply for bootloader unlock image
Download it and save it somewhere you can find it

Now the fun begins make sure to follow as i say cuz otherwise there's a chance android 10 might not install yes its very picky

Make sure you're on latest official ZUI 11.1.021
Now turn the phone off and power it on holding volume down and power button to boot into bootloader

Now its time to unlock the bootloader

Connect the phone to the computer and open CMD in the fastboot folder place the bootloader unlock img in the same folder

Type in
fastboot flash unlock sn.img
and after that type in
fastboot oem unlock-go
Now your bootloader is unlocked

Now you must boot the phone up and set it up with unlocked bootloader (yes this is important)
Set up the WiFi etc
And make sure to set up a pin and fingerprint
After you finish setup turn off the phone and boot into bootloader again (volume down+ power button)
Now flash TWRP
(put downloaded TWRP image into fastboot folder)
And then type in
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img and slam that enter
after its done click vol down few times to boot into the recovery click power button to select
Now when you boot into recovery it will ask you for a password to decrypt stuff (type in the pin/password you set up earlier when setting the phone up and click ok) now it will decrypt the storage
Now there's 2 ways to do this
1st Option
Connect phone to PC and drag the Android 10 zip to the internal storage
2nd option
Drag the firmware to a USB device and plug it in via OTG

Now click install (do not do any wipes)
If you went with the 1st option then select the zip file on internal storage and flash
If you went for 2nd option switch storage to OTG and click zip file and flash
Wait for it to flash
If it errors out that means you didn't listen and didn't set up pin and fingerprint (they are crucial so don't skip them the update somehow relies on them being set up and if they are not it doesn't wanna flash )
However if you did follow the instructions flashing will go well and after a bit it will be done
(Optional)
You can also flash magisk straight after without any reboots

Now back out and turn the phone off not reboot

Now boot into bootloader (vol down+power)
And you will see that your bootloader is locked again yes that's after effect of the firmware flash and fun part is that until you unlock it phone won't boot either cuz you have TWRP installed
Now unlock the bootloader again (scroll up for the instructions) and after that phone will reboot
Now wait few minutes for phone to boot and huzzah you have yourself some android 10 action on Lenovo Z5 Pro GT
(There is a chance firmware can overwrite TWRP to stock recovery if it doesn't just use the instructions above to flash TWRP again)

And that's about it
Enjoy your android 10

Hmm since you need to set-up the phone from ZUI 11 and does not require wiping.. after installing the beta version, does it just update the rom and carry over the setup you did on the previous rom? I'm asking this because my phone have the latest ZUI 11, bootloader unlock and TWRP installed.

Hey @wolfaas12345

I am very curious if this update has issues with notifications and bluetooth audio. I had those issues with ZUI 11 and i could not fix them (not even with some good advice).

Could you let me know?

PS i am also very curious if other functions (like fingerprint scanner and the slider) work ;)

I got my notifications working by deleting the zuisecurity app.. I followed instructions from a Russian site called 4pda.. I can't fine the exact instructions I did but they posted another way to do it.

"I personally recommend using the built-in TWRP file manager ( Advanced -> File Manager ). First you need to mount the system partition ( Mount -> [✓] System ). Move the folder / system_root / system / preinstall -> Move -> / sdcard / Backup . Move the folder / system_root / system / priv-app / ZuiSecurity -> Move -> / sdcard / Backup . Go to / data / app*

and select the application folder from which you want to always be informed, and you want this application to be able to start automatically under any conditions -> Move -> / system_root / system / app .
Usually, the rights are already needed, but just in case it’s worth checking, the files have 644, the folders have 755. Choose the folder -> chmod -> 0755 . Select subfolders -> chmod -> 0755 . Select the files inside them -> chmod -> 0644 .
Next, Reboot -> System .
If the system hangs on the bootloop, then try to boot into recovery, and then Wipe -> [✓]Dalvik-cache ."

Text is Russian but chrome translated it so it might be a little different..

Edit:
I found the instruction I mentioned above, but you need PC with adb installed to do it.

"Finally overcame notifications, without root. Via adb demolished Security. And after a while (perhaps reinstalling the prog with notifications and removing Google Services updates helped) notifications went. Access to the permissions menu has become unavailable. Prior to this, nothing helped, neither adding to exceptions / optimizations / permissions in the background / permission notifications / whitelist for autostart and so on, nor reinstalling Google Services. I now manage permissions through the app Ops through adb . Here are the commands for removing Security via adb , the root is not needed

adb pull / system / priv-app / ZuiSecurity /
adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.zui.safecenter

The first command backups the folder from Security to the computer, to the folder with adb, the second removes Security itself. Do not forget to reboot at the end
"

the first cmd will actually take a bit longer to finish since it will backup all files from system, priv-app, and zuisecurity folders.
second command will remove the zuisecurity app. I suggest u do a full backup using TWRP, and save the backup on a USB, not internal storage as suggested on the russian site.

TWRP gave me an error 7.. I started by installing the rom since I have the latest ZUI and have unlock bootloader already.
I have fingerprint, pin set-up and wifi also. Any ideas?
try this, it's work for me.
1. flash Zui10 via qfil.
2. relock bootloader
3. ota update to zui11.1
4. unlock bootloader
5. set-up fingerprint and pin
6. flash twrp
7. flash zui11.5 via twrp

So I have to clean wipe again? I don't want to do it then. Base on the tutorial u mentioned, I'm done with the instructions from 1-6 since I'm using this phone with zui11.1 since December with unlock bootloader and TWRP. I don't want to re-setup again, kinda lazy. But anyway thanks for the reply!

Instructions worked perfect, got it installen without any problems thanks to wolfaas12345.

It does have a dark mode under: settings > developer options > themes > dark.

Did not encounter issues, exept with notifications. Notifications show up but dont make a sound or vibration. Inunstalling zui security and installing app ops did not work.
