I was Instaling this on a HarmonyOS 2 Matepad 11 and when I try to do the step 20 the google accunt n the settings app deletes itself with the uninstalled applicaton so I cannot continue. I am basically stuck here please help.
Ps. When I add the google account there is no "CANCEL" button coming up on the screen returns directly to the googlefier app and the 1st option disappears.

I installed GMS on my MediaPad 6 running HOS2 successfully and most gapps are working fine, except Find my Device. Can anyone get it working?

You can select the last option (broom) icon in Googlefier, then restrat from the option.
FYI, the "CANCEL" is not showing up until you click on the "<--" back button or swipe (depends on your navigation settings).

is the "Find my device" from Harmony OS, or the one from Google is not working?
if you are referring to the Harmony OS one, this may due to the initial loading of Petal Maps (by default, Harmony OS is loading Huawei Petal maps, but not Google Maps), this may take some time to load depends on your internet speed and the map availability in your region.
if you are referring to the Google one, then open your google map first before opening the FInd My device or set both running in the background along with the device startup.

Nevertheless, both should be working fine.

The problem at the Matepad 11 is that the Google account is shown in the setting until you uninstall microG, after uninstalling microG the Google account disappears and is not coming back even when I ignore this and continue with the steps.

I already asked someone on reddit that said that he had figured it out on the Matepad 11 but he isnt really telling me the solution.

I used the broom already like 5 times and reseted my tablet 3 times :D

Of course I am talking about the Google one. I have map running and it still doesn't work, no matter using the app version or web version, the Huawei cannot find or be found by my other devices.

Good luck and enjoy!!!
Hi,
This is a very nice article, congratulations !
However, I would need an extra help, I am blocked at step 10, indeed, when I am typing Cd\111 and then click on "enter" computer says that "Le chemin d'accès spécifié est introuvable" (the specified path way was not found), any suggestion ?

The easiest way is to go to the destinated folder (111) and hold shift and right click. Then click on "open PowerShell/CMD here"

If it opens PowerShell, simply type "CMD" and hit enter and you're in CMD
Then you can proceed with uninstalling the backup app

I doubt you can install GMS on international rom version devices.
Only china rom devices can install.

I have the same issue on my Matepad 11 and there's not much to show on a video, after uninstalling microG the Google option under Settings / Users & accounts is gone. LZplay also says the device is unsupported which might be the root cause.

i have this same problem, have you been able to fix yours.. any help?
Had gone through articles in English, Japanese and Chinese and my countless time of trial. My personal conclusion was enlightened by a line in a Chinese post, said that P50 Pro shipped with HarmonyOS2 preinstalled shall encounter the same problem. So,
Unless some capable persons do some further twist on the files posted to fix it, otherwise, further tries will be endless transmigration.

i do not judge other people's method, every method has its own pros and cons.

thanks for letting me know that the link is not working. I have fixed the link.

Yes, this happened earlier this week.

    Here is the solution

The easiest way is to go to the destinated folder (111) and hold shift and right click. Then click on "open PowerShell/CMD here"

If it opens PowerShell, simply type "CMD" and hit enter and you're in CMD

    Thank you, it works :)
