Has anyone manage to lock the bootloader ? I have already tried locking in versions 13.1.555, 13.1.560 and 14.0.127 and everytime I end up in the fastboot loop.

I did it on Version 13.1.560. But ZUI14 wasn't released yet.

I was previously on ZUI 14.0.127 (L1 and locked bootloader) but wanted to downgrade back to ZUI 13...

I followed the guide on Page 1 and manually installed the updates up to 13.1.555, however every time I try to lock the bootloader I get the "Your device is corrupt. It cant be trusted and will not boot" message...

Any help would be appreciated.

You Will have to Unlock the bootloader to be able to re-insert the system and make the tablet bootable again.
It is a bit hard but possible (been there, done that.. :-( ).
As far as I know, you can only lock the bootloader on the most recent system version available for your ZUI.
If you are running ZUI13, You can lock on 13.1.556 (not 555). If you ran ZUI14, the only System version safe to lock is 14.y.xxx (the last one)
I guess that If you have ZUI14 running on your tablet, you can only lock the bootloader on ZUI14. Every other option will corrupt your boot device.

Ah OK, thanks for the explanation.
I did also try to lock the bootloader on 13.1.556 but got the same issue...

But now I understand, because I had ZUI 14 running previously, I'll only be able to lock the bootloader on that from now on.

Is there a hex key I can change and load using partition manager from QFIL to change what version I was running previously to trick it into being able to lock? Maybe It might work 1x I guess then get corrupt again after a reboot as the change is usually only temporary...

When my tablet bricked, because I tried to lock it with the wrong version, I had to Force a different Serial to unlock it.
I was able to unbrick the tablet but, I guess, this hack messed up the Widevine.
Now my tablet is ZUI14 and I locked the bootloader. But even though, I can't get Widevine L1 anymore. Only L3.

So, do it with caution.

I had the same situation. I followed the instruction to update manually one by one from original 12 rom up to 13.1.555 and manually upgrade to 14.0.127 using below full OTA. Then, I executed lockbootloader.bat and got locked and Widevine L1.
Hope it helps.

rename it to update.zip and move to the internal storage root drectory

Funcionou perfeitamente(works fine). Um conselho aos demais, tenham atenção com os drivers(One advice to everyone, be atention with the drivers instalation). O arquivo com LockandUnlock está vindo com o ADB na versão 40 e o ADB das últimas atualizações do TB-J716F é a versão 41(The ADB version with the LockandUnlock link came in the 40 version and the last updates of TB-J716F require version41). Bastou trocar e a mágica aconteceu(Just change the ADB version and the magic happen).

Did you try to lock the device?
That happened to me When I tried to lock the device on the Wrong ZUI version.

You have to do it only at the latest.

How do I get the sn.img file? I managed to change the serial number to HAHAHAHA and stopped at this part. I'm trying to unlock the bootloader. Can someone help me please?

Como voce trocou para 41?

E dps que tentei voltar para a versão anterior (sem sucesso), o driver não funciona corretamente.

Agora estou com o bootloader desbloqueado e com receio de utilizar e-mail e senha nele.

Consegue dar uma ajuda?


How did you switch to 41?
And after I tried to go back to the previous version (without sucess), the driver doesn't work properly.

Now I have the bootloader unlocked and I'm afraid to use email and password on it.
