Hi,

I've followed the guide and have everything that need working. Thank you.

Google maps, drive and photos work. YouTube too. All notifications seem good and I use the Aurora store and have framework app disabled.

I can't get Google Fit working and Garmin App never displays my routes. Neither are show stoppers but would be nice to find a solution.

Curve works well instead of Google Wallet/Pay.

I've been able to disable or uninstall various Huawei apps including the browser, so it's de-chinesed a bit.

So far so good.

What is your device and what version of Hrmony OS you are using?

DC0-AL00, so it's the Chinese version. It's now running HarmonyOS 3.0.0.187(SP1CooE185R5P4patch02) to be exact :)

It was delivered on an earlier version so I'm keen to know if the install process works on this version in case I ever need to factory reset it.

If the G (LZplay) app still works, then it will on the .187 version... can you still run the app?

My mate 50 pro is on .187 version and cannot run the G app.

Ignore my corrupt message, I've just downloaded the package again and restored the G app. I then put the phone in Airplane mode, set the date of the phone to 2019 and ran the App, it seemed to work as far as I can tell. I have to approve all the access and allow it to be a device administrator which was the same as last time.

I couldn't go through any more of the process as everything is installed and working.

What errors do you get? Got a screenshot?

It says in Chinese "Device Not Supported"

And Global Version is DC0-LX9, not DC0-AL00

Maybe that's the problem, the app might be coded to work with specific device codes.

With the global version, you can change the region to Malaysia and install the Light hause app from the Huawei Store.

Hi,

Do you know if your guide works on the latest harmony os version? Just wondering if I ever need to factory reset the phone is be able to install gsf again. Thank you
It is working on the latest version of my Harmony_os. If you've never installed Google before, there's no need for a hard reset. If you've previously installed Google, you can also go to each app to clear your data and uninstall it

Hello
I need help for the whole process as it's a bit confusing
(I have the chinese model with latest harmony update)
from what I understand, I need to follow the procedure that's in the folder named: A10_Google_Huawei_Mate50
is that correct?
and then follow the procedure that's in : UPDATE_ANDROID 12
correct?
(I understand I will lose access to the playstore in the process)

is there a way to reverse the process just un case?

thanks a lot!

That is indeed correct.

All the step you take can be undone, you can uninstall all the software you install.

You do lose access to the official playstore app but Aurora Store works perfectly

Uninstall and reinstall Facebook and Messeger, or simply delete Facebook and Messeger data and restart your phone.

I can buy HUAWEI Mate 50 Pro from UAE but will that work in India with Indian SIM card? Any friend pl clarify.
I don't know if there are any restrictions on Huawei's band. But I used Iphone, Xiaomi originating from India market (Global Version) and it works fine with my Sim (Vietnam). That said, Indian bands are compatible with global bands, so it shouldn't be a problem with your device bought in the UAE.

This method is for China Domestic Version Harmony OS 3.0

Tested working well with Mate 50, Mate 50pr and Mate 40pr. You can try it on other phones with Harmony OS3.0

    Hello everyone!
Huawei Mate 50 Series is undeniably one of the best phones today in terms of performance, photography, battery life... That's why I bought it even though I knew it didn't have google services

After 1 month and trying many different methods I have successfully installed the Google root and the push notification fix works 100%
This method is synthesized from many methods and it is the fastest, most effective and easiest implementation method compared to current methods on social networks as well as youtube....

In the file at the download link below there are full files as well as step-by-step instructions. You just need to follow the correct order to succeed.

If you need the Play Store then just go to step 23

If you want to fix the push notification error, then do the next " Fix late notifications Gmail, Facebook, Messenger, Zalo...". At this point, you will not be able to use the Play Store anymore, you must download the application through another Store such as Aurora Store

I'm Vietnamese and my English is not good, I hope you can read and understand the contents of my manual.

    Tool download link : https://www.mediafire.com/file/8g063g3wwnxcic9/Google_Harmony_3.0_-Mate_50.rar/file

    ADB Tool Download Link: https://www.mediafire.com/file/utu7v38qmebqxhz/ADB_platform-tools.7z/file

Because MediaFire it mistakenly has a Virus because it contains .exe, .dll.... files in folder ADB Tool, so the file will not be able to download or download, Chrome will also block it.

I changed the extension of the .exe files to .doc. You download and change all the files with the extension .doc to .exe is OK

To make it simple and easy to disable, you can also use ADB AppControl to do it. Reference and download here:

Update Google Services and Google Services Framerwork to Android 12

I tested not have any warning protection and it runs great. The touch is smooth and responsive, the phone is cool and the battery life is good. At the same time, some minor errors such as the light sensor not working properly when entering the Setting application are also gone....

Push notifications work great and fast

Google translate worked fine when translating from photos

As we know Huawei Mate 50 series is built with Android 12
    Android is Google's operating system
So even though it's an add-on application, Google Services and Google Services Framework are still available and interact with the version of the operating system running on your phone.
The current methods are still mainly using Android 10's files, although it will work, it will be limited, less interactive and have minor bugs with Android 12 on Huawei Mate 50.

This update is only for those who don't need the Play Store and want push notification services like in this said above and did to the last step of " Fix late notifications Gmail, Facebook, Messenger, Zalo..."

    Step-by-step instructions :

    Download and unzip: https://www.mediafire.com/file/zst8qub1pmm3hk4/UPDATE_ANDROID_12.rar/file

    1. Turn on Airplane mode
    2. Install app Google PLAY Services 21.48.15 FIX
    3. Go to Settings / Apps & services/ Apps >>> Google Account Manager > Force Stop, Delete Data

    4. Reboot

    5. Install app Google PLAY Service_22.36.16 UPDATE
    6. Install app Google Services Framework_12-31_UPDATE
    7. Go to Settings / Apps & services/ Apps >>> Google Account Manager > Force Stop, Delete Data

At this time, the Google Services Framework will automatically turn back on, so you have to use the ADB Tool to turn it off

    8. Connect phone to computer in ADB mode
    - Remember to enable USB debugging in Developer Options
    9. Run CMD.exe (In the folder ADB_platform-tools) type:

    adb devices
    adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 com.google.android.gsf

    10. Reboot

    11. Go to Settings / Apps & services/ Apps >>> See if google services framework is disabled. If you don't see it turned off, execute the adb command again
    12. Go to Settings / Apps & services/ Apps >>> Google Account Manager > Force Stop, Delete Data

    13. Reboot

    14. Turn off Airplane mode

    15. Run the Push Notification API application. Click Submit to see the response message on the status bar is OK.

If checking push notification has no response then :
    Go to Settings / Apps & services/ Apps :
    - Google Account Manager > Force Stop, Delete Data
    - Google PLAY Service > Delete Data
    - Reboot.
    Good luck

What's emui 13? The global version?
    Yes.

I currently have two Mate 50 Pro's in my possession. One with Harmony OS 3 on and one with EMUI 13 on. The guide ancola66 has put together here works perfectly with the Harmony OS version but I forgot that you cannot set a third party launcher on Chinese devices.

The EMUI version i got from Huawei UK and the guide does not work and the constraints of not having native GMS are just too much for me.

£2000 worth of phone being returned tomorrow!

I'd be very surprised if it did work. With that said, I'm keen for someone to confirm either way.

Is it actually possibly to install Harmony on a global Mate 50 Pro?
To install harmony OS I don't know however, check page 1 of this forum, someone with a global has installed GMS. Needless to say, this beast of a phone has a incredible camera, especially with the most recent update , battery life is splendid too. If it had GMS out of the box, apple & Samsung would struggle for sales

thank you for your post, i'm Vietnamese too

bác cho mình hỏi mình cài Google cho máy nội địa rồi nhưng có vẻ k full, Gmail không có thông báo + cách đây vài ngày vào CHplay thì bị giật, k mượt như trước, nếu được bác xem giúp mình được không

Mod translation: Can you tell me if I have installed Google for my domestic device but it doesn't seem to be full, Gmail has no notification + a few days ago when I went to CHplay, it was jerky, not as smooth as before, can you help me if you can help me?
