I've Googled this, searched the forums here, at Modaco, and on Google's own support forums. I can't find a definitive answer.
Nexus One running (Modaco frf85 rom w/addons, CM6 then Modaco frf91)
Yesterday I started getting the error "Install Unsuccessful Unknown Reason -18" on all downloads from the market.
Since CM 6 had just come out I decided to wipe and upgrade to the CM 6 rom. But the problem didn't go away. In fact when I tried to restore using Titanium Backup not all files would restore (most did). There was no real pattern either. New and old apps were affected.
So I tried one more time and wiped and installed the latest Modaco ROM frf91 with no addons.
Now very little restores from backup and the error continues.
