For days now, I've been trying to get my Evo 4G LTE on Cyanogenmod.

  • I can't use Firewater because I'm running Android 4.1.1
  • For the same reason, I can run Sunshine
  • I'm running HBOOT 2.09 so I can't utilize various other methods I've come across
  • I don't understand why I can't just wipe everything (all the important stuff has already been backed up), install an updated version of HBOOT from the SDcard, install Cyanogenmod, and then install GAPPS.

Most importantly, I seem to be 'stuck' in S-On. I get as far as seeing the message "unlock token check successful", but then nothing happens on the phone and the status doesn't change. Because of this, I can't really flash anything.

Pretty please, help a brother out, would ya?

P.S. I'm sorry, I just read the sticky on this forum, and it look like this belongs in the Q&A forum, but I don't see an option for me to move it.
