Beta1-2-3
to flash Beta 1 I've to be on older than AUJ1?
It's December, where is the official update and security patch?!
I know, sorry text doesn't reveal my sarcastic tone! ;-)As I've said on the F926B thread, the update was supposed to be released last week, but there were some delays. Expect it, hopefully, by the end of this week.
Also, the fact that Samsung said the update comes "in December 2021", that doesn't mean they'll release it on the first day of the month... Security updates during the major update periods are usually a bit late, since the engineers will focus on ironing out issues with the big Android update, and there's lesser priority on the security patch.
I have been trying because I am on AUJ7. It aborts because it says something about being newer than the target. I am thinking you have to flash back to AUI5.
I didn't even know there was a beta 4
I did what you did on my unlocked one i flashed that software you said to download and i have us mobile sim card in my phone to mimic verzion since its runs off Verizon anyways so how long did it take for the update to pop up bc after I passed thru the setup and i went to hit update no update is happening bc i don't have Verizon sim card installed or does it matter what sims i have in if i need to i can install a Verizon sim card in my phoneok so as an FYI for those of you that flashed the U1 software onto your Verizon branded device in order to participate in the beta. in order to get back to official Verizon software and up to official 12 I did these steps.
I hope this helps someone I know that I was happy that this process worked.
- I did a factory reset on the phone. (back up using smartswitch for PC or however you prefer to back up)
- I flashed the UJ6 firmware located here. (once this completed it failed to boot but then booted to recovery so that I could factory reset and it booted after that)
- I personally skipped through setup so that I could just download the official 12 update through settings.
- After performing update to 12 I did another factory data reset and then proceeded to set phone back up.
- Restore from backup that you made previous to step 1.
It happened fairly quickly for me, I am on Verizon so maybe that might make a difference.I did what you did on my unlocked one i flashed that software you said to download and i have us mobile sim card in my phone to mimic verzion since its runs off Verizon anyways so how long did it take for the update to pop up bc after I passed thru the setup and i went to hit update no update is happening bc i don't have Verizon sim card installed or does it matter what sims i have in if i need to i can install a Verizon sim card in my phone

Confirmed, thanks a bunch! I sent my half, and in the future if we get more betas is it possible for you to grab the links for those as well?
Thanks everyone. I'll try to remember to snag the next Beta OTA link
