Why is the 'extra loud' setting under Speaker no longer available in latest V4A? (it is there in version 2.5.05.)
Wait, so we don't have to do extra steps anymore to install Viper?
I can just download the latest app (2.7.1.6) from Apkmirror, get the driver and reboot?

Yes, they have fixed it. No need to do any of the extra steps in my original post. The latest version just seems to work. At least in my experience anyway.
I've installed V4A version 2.5.0.5 via xXx ROM module - interface seems a lot better than latest version, includes 'extra loud' feature for speakerphone, and many preset profiles.
just follow this
1. install terminux in google play
terminux link
2. type "su" then press enter
3. type "setenforce 0" press enter
4. play any song and try to check it again

I installed the apk. Driver is installed but status says abnormal and viper is not processing any audio I'm playing.
